What does Moonstone do with Sue Storm?
Moonstone Stages An Abduction
"Fuck fuck fuck fuck," Moonstone said as she peeled back Sue Storm's eyelid and stared at the dilated pupil. Fingers found a pulse. The heroine was breathing, but unresponsive.
"Okay, okay, think this through, Karla," the villain said to herself. "Naked Invisible Woman. Obviously just had sex. No idea when she'll wake up or what she'll remember. Can't just call her husband to pick her up. But they know she came here, to this appointment. If she's gone too long, they'll come here looking for her. So she can't be here, but..."
Karla opened the bottom drawer of her desk and took out the bottle of Johnny Walker Black Label. She didn't bother with a glass, just twisted off the cap and took a long swig.
"...she can't be here. Okay. Alright. Right."
Moonstone dressed herself and pulled out a laptop with a link to a very particular dark web site. Sort of a job board for working villains. She swiftly tapped out an advertisement and shifted a few million from the black account that Doom had set up for operational funds. Within twenty minutes, half a dozen super criminals would descend on this building for some unplanned deconstruction. By the time the police, fire department, S.H.I.E.L.D., and the Fantastic Four arrived, the entire floor would be gone.
She tapped the control on the desk that was a direct line to Doomstadt in Latveria. Three heartbeats later, Doom's holographic head hovered over it.
"There's been an issue," Moonstone told him. "I need to stage an abduction. I'm going to take Susan down the service elevator, out through the underground parking garage. We're going dark for a bit."
"This was not part of the plan," Doctor Doom observed.
"Therapy never goes exactly according to plan," Karla said as she hefted the Invisible Woman, who was still smiling and staring into space, over her shoulder as if she was a kitten. "So I'm improvising. Just cover for me."
"Very well," Doom said, and clicked off.
Karla and Sue were already underground when all of the Doomtech in her office self-destructed. Thirty seconds later, the Living Laser arrived and began randomly burning things. Black Talon's zombies tore through the corridors, contaminating every magical and spiritual trace with their necromantic corruption. The Living Laser was sloppy; zombies caught fire, burning dead men pawed at the walls, tore up carpet, cracked and blew out windows.
Sirens wailed in the distance.
Reed Richards caught the alert on the police band. He recognized the address.
The Fantasticar was in the air within minutes.
By which time, Sue Storm and Moonstone were long gone.
