Mind magic
Mind magic is not exactly the most powerful weapon in battle. But this does not mean you are helpless. You can attack the chimera with a mind blow. A powerful mental attack that can even kill by overloading an enemies brain. You could also use your magic to read the chimeras thoughts. Then you would know how and when it attacks and counter the attack. Or you create an illusion of yourself. When the chimera does not know where you are, it probably attacks the wrong version of you and you can stab it with your knife.
