Mei tests one of her new inventions

“All done!”

Mei leans back in her chair after putting the finishing touches onto her newest and most ambitious project. On the outside it looked like just a large metal box, but hidden inside were countless parts and sex toys.

“Ultimate Solo BDSM Machine! With this baby you can satisfy any kind of BDSM fantasy! It automatically reads your brainwaves and gives you the experience you want most!”

She continued explaining all the functions as if she was pitching it to an investor but abruptly stopped as she thought to herself.

“Hm, I suppose I should test it before actually putting it on the market… I guess I’ll put up another post advertising for testers.”

It was common for Mei to post advertisements around the school looking for volunteers to test her inventions, both for hero gear and for sex toys. The posters could never specify what exactly was being tested, as she did have to keep a low profile for her sex toy business, but everyone knew her hand in market well enough to be able to pick up on the little hints she’d drop in each ad. Usually the prospect of being a tester was enough to draw people in, but it was common for some kind of bargaining to occur between Mei and the testers for extra compensation, usually some kind of reduced price for some of her other products.

“Hmm, with such an ambitious project, I’ll need twice as many testers as usual… I guess I’ll see who emails me to volunteer and work from there!”

She quickly hung up the ads and returned to her lab to finish working on some other gear.
