Meeting the client part 2 (Sophie POV)

In the parking lot I find a nice not too big all-terrain vehicle. Bottom line is that a means of transport for two is required. Thus this red 4-door SUV with a light-cell roof will be just fine with its 212inch length we’ll have more than enough space for just the two of us. And with the way what once used to be called photo-voltaic cells evolved during the fifth era the light-cells nowadays are more than powerful enough to power the car to go during the day and charge the power cells at night.
The trip from Mega-City 4 to Mega-City 1 will take several days anyway and we can stay overnight at guest rooms in the homesteads we will be passing. Actually it's the region around them that we will be traveling to but humans commonly use the Mega-Cities as reference points.
On that note I throw my duffle bag in the back and head out to our latest client.

Theo Miller lives in a small settlement in the Mega-City 4 region which turned out to be a guesthouse.
As I entered the guesthouse the **** resignation of the facts dripped from his words as he addressed me. Not that I can blame him is it a bit much in a few days. First learning that both your parent are dead and that their will is that you resettle and leave where you grew up and everything else behind. And then let a stranger (me) take you to some unknown destination. I feel for the guy but I have a job to do too.
Although he’s not bad-looking and in the same age range as me. He’s about my height maybe a little taller, pale skin and brown long fringe hair barely covering his right eye and swept behind his left ear. He has piercing grey eyes below some well-defined eyebrows, a well-proportioned nose and lips in what they call a heart shape face. And a slightly toned rectangular body shape.
He wore a grayish polo neck sweater and straight pants and some sturdy though stylish shoes.
When I told him he should get packing he took a duffel bag not much different than my own and started stuffing it. Apparently he didn’t have a large wardrobe cause everything fit into 2 duffle bags.
To finish off he put on a leather-like jacket which gave him a functional though stylish look.

And so we're off to Mega-City 1. It took several days to arrive at a settlement that everyone around here knew as Vale and from there up the mountain to the homestead. Meanwhile the people from Shure had been busy preparing the homestead for our arrival after all it had been empty for some time. Thus the main house and the guest chambers in the outbuildings got cleaned and the storage barns a once over.
Every room also got furnished with basic though new items.

The guesthouse at Megacity 4 will be added to the real estate portfolio of Shure and a corresponding amount of Shards deposit in the client's account.
