You are the son of Bahl, basterd son of the lord of ****, born in the end times, when the gods walked as men and, in your fathers case, fucked like rabbits.

You knew none of this.You were born after your father, in mortal form was killed. You were to be sacraficed to bring Bahl back but, something went wrong, your first memmories are of an elderly man, the man you grow up to think of as your father that man was Gorion.

As you grow you live in the city of CandleKeep, a large city of learning. A child of your age needs a companion and you soon find one, a young girl by the name of Imoen soon becomes your best friend. As you age you spend most of your days with Imoen, learning or training.

One day when you are about twelve Gorion asks you a simple question. "Given the chance would you follow the path of magic or martial skills?
