Mackenzie is very pleasantly surprised at how things are going

Mackenzie was elated.

If this were almost any other event in her life in recent memory, she'd be well on her way to complete and utter nudity. Those three would've made off with the majority of her outfit AND her suitcase, and she'd be left here scrounging for cover in this shared bathroom on a different floor from her room, which, without her luggage, likely wouldn't even have anything for her to wear, anyway. IF she could even get into it without her room key. And that was just the start of her two week long theoretical cruise... Surely the dominoes would fall and things would compound to be worse and worse over the course of the trip. The old Mackenzie might've even spent most of her vacation sans clothing!

BUT that was the hypothetical and this was reality. She had all of her clothes AND her suitcase totally intact. Although her shirt was wet, and both it and her pants were dirty, besides those small details, she was completely and utterly modestly dressed.

Mackenzie was over the moon at how the trip had gone so far! It truly did feel like she was turning a new leaf. A much, MUCH more clothed leaf than usual. Maybe I was right about this trip! thought Mackenzie, happy that her humiliating luck seemed to be turning around.

She contemplated what to do from here. Between bee-lining for her room, changing out of her dirty clothes real quick, or taking a full-on shower, Mackenzie had a few pretty good options.
