So which is it? Room, change, or shower?
Mackenzie pushes her luck with a shower
Mackenzie ultimately decided to push her luck. This would be the real test.
If her vacation was truly fated to be humiliation-free, a shower should be a pretty mundane affair.
She knew she was playing with fire, but Mackenzie wanted to rip the band-aid off now. If she escaped the shower with her modesty unscathed, then she could finally relax. Her transformation into a perfectly normal, continually-clothed member of society would be complete!
No more wardrobe malfunctions! No more accidental streaking! No more unintentional nudity at all! thought Mackenzie. Just one final test and I'm free...
Mackenzie psyched herself up as she crossed the room to the furthest stall in the corner. She rolled her suitcase up against the wall, making sure to keep her little purse balanced on top, which had her room key, ID, and phone. Then, she opened the curtain to assess what sort of showering facilities this cruise ship had to offer.
Okay, maybe if the showers are gross, then I can go check out the room instead... Mackenzie bargained with herself.
That feeble attempt at finding an excuse to quit was immediately quashed when she saw the plumbing she'd be working with.
The shower was immaculate. It was made of entirely shiny white porcelain and was simultaneously very spacious as well as private. The curtain was thick and floor-length, and the walls went all the way to the ceiling. Several bottles of various luxurious shampoos, conditioners, and soaps lined not one, not two, but three small shelves.
It was such a nice little shower. She was totally alone. She needed to change out of her gross outfit anyway. Most other passengers were probably settling into their rooms or checking out the upper decks.
Mackenzie had absolutely no excuse to weasel out of her experiment now, so she stepped inside.
