Lying on national television

"Oh yes, that?" Jennifer said, forcing a chuckle. "I figured those scenes might confuse people."

"Care to elaborate?" The host asked, eager to get more gossip out of the starlet.

"Well, the director of Gretchen's World had a very specific idea for how he wanted Gretchen to look." Jennifer explained. "And, as you can see, I don't really look like the character in some regards."

To emphasize her point Jennifer thrust out her heaving, heavily padded chest.

"So, for these scenes they hired a body double for Gretchen's body." Jennifer lied.

"Wait... that's not you?" The host gestured at the image of Gretchen in her underwear. "But the face... it looks just like you!"

"I know, it's pretty incredible what they can do with CGI nowadays." Lauren said, continuing with her fib. "I'm no expert but I believe they're using deepfake technology, or something of the sort."

"Oh, I see!" The host said, believing Lauren's false statements. After all, Lauren was an actress, which was basically professional lying. "I think many of your fans thought you were using padded underwear, just like Gretchen is in the plot."

"I'm afraid not." Jennifer giggled. "Everything you see is 100 percent authentic."

The crowd 'ooohed!' at Jennifer's saucy statement about her body. She was ecstatic. They were buying it!
