Lost Everything

Megan Markle's heart sank as the judge made their decision. Their lawsuits against the newspapers had not gone well, and despite all the evidence they'd put forward for how the gossip rags had invaded their privacy, the judge just wasn't having it,

"As damages for making this spurious claim, we have decided that Mrs Megan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, will pay £50 million to the Daily Mail and Daily Mirror respectively. You will also pay their legal costs, each amounting to around £10 million."

Just like that Megan had lost everything. Prince Harry and her had to sell their estate in California. They soon divorced with Harry returning to the English Royal Family, taking the kids with him. It's not like Megan had any money to contest it in divorce court.

Now broke and ****, she had to pay off her debts to the newspapers somehow.
