Everyone looks at you. Mark asks “Why the hell would I do that?”

You calmly tell him “If you put Zack in a room with me, he would try to kill me in my sleep. Same with me and Sarah. Zack and Sarah would try to kill each other. Lisa might or might not feel like doing something to them if she shares a room with them. This is the only way things don’t get worse! I suppose you might room with Sarah, but that would seem odd, raise some very interesting and unusual questions. I also don’t trust Zack on his own.”

Mark froze for a bit as he thought about what you just told him. It was an odd combo, but eventually he agreed. You made sense, and he just wanted to avoid making things worse for himself.

You went to your room, Sarah got the middle room, Mark and Zack took the one to the right of hers, and you took the one to the left. Yours was also closest to the exit.

As you went to your rooms, you noticed the shadows of some people moving from where they overheard what you told the family. Hmm, that would create some rumors.

Lisa was just overwhelmed by everything!
