Laura’s Volunteer Journey

Laura was a smart girl. She earned top marks in every subject, projecting her to be top of her class at her university. On top of that, she also had some killer looks. Long blonde hair, sun kissed skin, piercing blue eyes, slim waist but wide hips, and a beautiful set of breasts on her.

By all accounts she had it all. This meant she was especially surprised when she received an email that she may not be able to graduate in the spring. She immediately scheduled a meeting with her advisor to figure out what has gone wrong.

Arriving at the office, Laura paced back and further waiting to be let in. She had planned everything so perfectly to ensure her success, and now she was being told she may not graduate. She felt like her life was collapsing around her.

After a few minutes, the door opened and Laura saw an older gentleman peek his head out.

“You must be Laura, please come in.” The man said, gesturing further into his office.

Laura walked in a saw the absolute mess of a desk, with stacks of papers and books nearly covering the wooden top.

“So, let me see here.” The advisor said, sitting on the other side of the desk. “You are here because you are confused on why you are not able to graduate in the spring, correct?”

“Yes sir.” Laura responded politely. “I just don’t understand what I am missing. I have all my credits lined up.”

“Yes, I see that. Unfortunately you are missing our mandatory volunteer hours.” The man said, his eyes locked on the papers in front of him. “At this point, it is almost impossible for you to meet the required time.”

Laura felt her heart sink. “There must be something I can do.” Laura begged, tears starting to well up in the corners of her eyes.

“Well, Laura, most of the volunteer positions have been taken. However, I do have a handful that would be interested in taking you on. They are nothing prestigious, but they will get you the hours you need.” He said, sliding Laura a paper. “Here is a list of the positions we have left. Please pick one and we can have you start tomorrow.”

Laura quickly grabbed the paper and began scanning the list of positions. The advisor wasn’t kidding when he said they weren’t anything prestigious, but at this point Laura didn’t care. She couldn’t risk letting her life fall apart.
