Knuckles is... Chuckling?

"Wh- What is this Knucklehead laughing at?"

Rouge thinks for herself while Knuckles burst out in laughter right in front of her, his fist resting on his hips while his wet body is now at full display for the frustrated bat. She can see his toned frame more clearly, but down in his groin, there isn't any visible reproductive organ.

Once Knuckles is done laughing at Rouge, he opens the window to her surprise, and the more unexpected, he comes out through it after wrapping a towel around his waist.

"Hey bat girl, wasn't expecting to see you around here. Were you trying to steal the Master Emerald, by any chance?" The crimson furred questions the albino babe, still holding his towel and lifting an eyebrow at her in a smug fashion.

"Don't you dare mock me, guardian. But yes, I was about to take away your most prized possession while you're chilling loafing around like a helpless lazy bones! And nothing is gonna stop me." The bat replies.

"Well, you we're looking pretty distracted by watching me cleaning myself up... You sure you're that commited to your goal girl?"

Since when did this naive shy dude got so bold and smug? She's usually the one who teases him, not the other way around!

Rouge screams internally, thinking of a way she could excuse herself and escape from this awkward situation.
