Johnny Get's a Text From Meredith Stout

Johnny was sat in the bus, Stevie was yelling something at the window, waving a guitar in the air. Johnny just kept staring out ahead, not sure where he was going, or what he was doing, V had given his life for him, he'd gone with Alt, given Johnny a second chance, he wasn't gonna fuck this up for V.

Johnny felt something vibrating in his pocket, he pulled out his phone... V's phone... and saw Panam's name show up on the screen. He froze, not sure what to do, staring at the name of his best friend's lover, a woman who'd been completely abandoned, without so much as a goodbye.

After a moment the ringing stopped, and a message popped up on the screen.

"Really?" Panam was angry, her voice seeping in fury. "You're just gonna ignore me? Here's a bit of advice for you, Johnny. Enoy your new lease on life. 'Cause it's not gonna last long. I'm serious." Her voice as a menacing growl. "Believe me when I say I'm going to find you, you fucking pyschopath, wherever you're hiding. And when I do, I'm gonna rip V out of your head! Don't ask me how, but so far I'm counting sheer will. You know what you are johnny? A parasite! A fucking Tapeworm! YOU HEAR ME?!?" She screamed into the screen, then lowered her voice to barely more than a whisper. "Enjoy the time you have left."

Johnny placed the phone on his lap, staring out of the window. "Fuck me..." He said, closing his eyes. "...Didn't last long, did it? Me not fucking up, huh V?" He asked, looking out the bus window. "Shit what am I doin'? Leavin' Night City behind? For what? Why? You wouldn't of, would you? No... You'd of gone on, fought on, you'd-a brought the fight to anyone who got in your way and you'd have become the legend of the Afterlife, heh... Guess I'm a big fucking disappointment?... FUCK!" Johnny lashed out, slamming his fist into the glass window, shattering it.

"Hey, what the hells goin' on back there?" The bus driver shouted, looking through his rearview mirror at the blonde guy whose body used to belong to V. "You got a problem buddy? Let it out on your fucking wife, not my bus!" The driver told Johnny, as the bus came to a stop. Johnny rolled his eyes and stood up, moving to the front of the bus. "Fuck you." Silverhand told the bus driver, grabbing him by the back of the head and slamming his forehead into his steering wheel, kicking the door to the bus open and getting off.

"Well then V, where do I go from here, huh?" Johnny asked, looking up at the sky, arms out stretched. "WHAT AM I MEANT TO DO?!?" He shouted, screaming to the heavens for answers.

The answer came, Johnny was surprised to find, within seconds, his phone once again vibrated, but this time it was short, just a text message. The Name on the message, was Meredith Stout.

Johnny opened the messages, and just below her last message "Sometimes two people find themselves at the wrong place at the right time." was a new one, short and simple.

"V, I need you. Now. Same place."

Johnny looked a the message for a moment, then back up at the sky, and groaned. "The corpo bitch? Really V? Couldn't have sent Judy? Or fucking anyone else? The corpo blonde?... Fuck me, fine! I'll go." He said, annoyed, what kind of cruel joke was being played on him?

He hadn't been around when V had his short lived fling with Stout, but he could remember it, so could his body. His cock was hardening up just at the thought. He shook his head to clear his thoughts and growled at himself.

Fifteen minutes later he was outside the No-Tell Motel, moving inside it, his feet feeling like they were caked in cement.

When he got to the room he remembered V meeting her in, he opened the door and stepped in... Whatever he'd been expecting, it wasn't what greeted him on the other side....

"Hello, V." Meredith said, a stern look on her face. "Ready for round two? I promise... I won't be nearly as gentle as last time." Her words were almost completely lost on Johnny, he was too distracted by the three massive, glowing, dildos poking out of her bare ass.
