Waiting with Tyler
Jamie's back
Jamie flashed me a smile as he entered the dorm room, holding up a bag of snacks to show why he had been gone.
"I'm gonna let you two lovebirds have the room to yourself," Tyler said as he left, leaving me alone with Jamie.
Trying not to be obvious that he was staring at my outfit, Jamie set out several bowls and started to prepare the snacks while I waited on the couch. My heart was going crazy again. Even though I had asked to meat up with Jamie, I hadn't actually decided what to do yet I realized. I had just put off the decision like a coward.
"Are you okay?" Jamie asked. "You look a little nervous." I loved him for small kindnesses like that. He was always so attentive and caring. I didn't deserve him, I really didn't.
"I'm fine," I said with a **** smile.
At this point I was just buying time for myself. I had three realistic options if I wanted to stop cheating. Stop seeing Brandon, break up with Jamie or follow Brandon's suggestion and ask for an open relationship. I knew myself well enough by now to know that I wouldn't be able to follow through with the first option, and I couldn't bear the thought of the second one. That meant there was one option left....
A difficult decision
