James meets up with a Goddess

You wake up in a dark void on a bluish platform that stretches to the horizon. It took you a moment but the tingling in your arms reminded you of what Nora had done. You were wondering a bit where you were when you heard heels clicking on the ground behind you. Your eyes were blurry as you saw a blue form walk past you and sit down on a throne that appeared out of nowhere. You recognize the form just as she spoke.

“Welcome lost soul…” she said in a kind and honeyed voice as she opened her eyes to smile at you. Her expression slipped off her face. “...oh it's you.”

“Hi Aqua!” You greeted the Aqua from Konosuba in charge of your resurrection and near **** insurance. “How have you been? Did you finish One Piece?”

“No, I haven't finished One Piece!” Aqua pouted and crossed her arms as you noticed a paused TV screen showing that Aqua was only on the Alabasta arc of One Piece. “You Prime Worlders keep dying on me!” Aqua then started mumbling under her breath. “And here I thought I would finally get a normal client.”

“So Aqua, I’m guessing it was the electroshock that got me?” You ask her.

“Yeah, it's such a shame. Your sexual partner underestimated how much electricity was running through those lines,” Aqua shrugged.

“Before you resurrect me, can you tell my family I am alive and planning on getting home soon?” You ask her, a bit hopeful. “And maybe we can continue where we left off last time?” She grimaced a bit and started tapping her fingers on her armrests.

“Well…you see…” She started explaining, “you died from electrocution during a foursome.” She gave an apologetic look. “Your policy only covers electrocutions in groups up to a threesome. Sorry…” You stared at her in horror.

“But… Aelita and Starfire…we were getting married…my kids,” you said brokenly. Aqua gave you a sad and pitiful look. You were tearing up when Aqua started spasming. You frowned at Aqua for a few seconds before realizing what had happened. She was snickering!

“Oh you useless…” You say as your vision darkened.

“...whore!” You shouted as your eyes were blinded by light and the nerves across your body felt like hot knives were poking them.

“I know you are in pain but there is no need to call us bad names,” a soft and quiet voice lightly scowled you.

“A lot of appreciation for our hard work, he has,” a London accented voice snarked as someone pressed your wrist before counting your heartbeat. “Elevated heart rate.”

“Sorry, I was just yelling at my near **** and resurrection agent,” you apologized as your vision clears once again allowing you to see a Martha Jones from Doctor Who, a human Fluttershy, and a Barriss Offee hovering over you and checking you over vitals. You saw Himiko Toga, Ranko, and the merged Lusamine/Nora/Mai on the other side of the room looking concerned at you. Turning your head, you saw a bunch of characters looking into the room with concerned or curious faces.

“Your what?” Barriss asked you as she used the **** to soothe your aching head.

“A bunch of Prime Worlders have resurrection insurance to get revived on **** if they have risky jobs,” you explain, gaining surprised and aggravated looks from some of the listening characters. “The agent was making a joke that I wasn't covered. Thankfully, it was just a near **** experience.” You explained to the group as you fell back into your lecturing habit.

“Actually, you were legally dead for a few seconds there,” Martha explained as she continued checking your vitals.

“Barriss was able to restart your heart,” Fluttershy said. You turned to the Jedi Padawan and tipped your head.

“Thank you, I owe you one.” Barriss was about to reply but then someone at the door shouted in a gravelly voice.

“Hey, this is all nice and all, but is he good to go? I spent all day getting cleaned up.” Someone whose voice you didn’t recognize asked.

“I’ll say with the supplies we have, he won’t be available for…” Fluttershy glanced at Himiko who crossed her arms with a couple of fingers on the outside. “Two days.” The girls at the door all groaned and started dispersing.

“Heal soon my darling!” Lum cheered at you as she waved and walked away.

“How lucky you were that so many healers were nearby,” Lusamine said, giving you a wink.

“Definitely lucky,” you replied. The latest communal sperm bank nearly getting taken out by one of the clique leaders? Tension is going up. The communal sperm bank nearly dying and depriving the others of their fun? Tension is going to skyrocket. And a confrontation is nearly guaranteed. Ensuring one of Himiko’s medic friends and two of Lusamine’s was just a smart move especially since you had your resurrection insurance just in case. You just wish that you knew what Nora had planned; you thought Mai was just going to temporarily paralyze with a thin blade in the right place.

“I’m going to see ourselves out,” Lusamine declared before giving Himiko a look. “My friends will be doing their part for the party.”

“Okay, sure and mine will do our part,” Himiko said while giving Ranko a glance.

“Can anyone explain what this is all about?” Ranko asked.
