James is helping some recruits

“Your Usopp was a genius, if I didn’t go to StarFleet Academy, I probably wouldn’t have figured out how to fix this thing,” You say to Nami as you finish working on her Clima-Tact weapon which she had been lucky to still have when she got thrown out by her owner. “Your mirages will be a great help. And the lighting in case Ember the ghost manages to escape the thermos.” It turned out that it was relatively easy to convince Nami to join up; Femputer has been forcing her on the exploration and mapping teams to map out the tribe’s ever changing territory but she has also been threatening Nami with the bimbo or barbarian juice every time a map becomes outdated. Being reminded of Arlong made her very willing to join you; promising to have her be your navigator on your Normandy was simply the cherry on the cake.

“Thermos?” Nami asked as she accepted her signature weapon.

“A weapon against ghosts,” you explained, gesturing to the thermos held by Merida while you made some last minute adjustments to a bow. You handed it to Amber who was currently in your room while waiting to join Ranko for the distraction Tea Ceremony class. “This bow is not as good as some of the weapons from your world but should help with keeping Ranko safe.” Amber had provided the bow that she took from a patroller’s bunkroom and you have been tuning it and making some improvements using some Skyrim knowledge.

“Can you replace this wire, it's starting to fray a bit,” Vivi asked as she handed you her Peacock Slashers weapons. Vivi joined up with Nami, hating how Femputer and Canary’s enforcers treated the ‘non-useful’ and more **** members of the tribe. You grab her weapons and replace the wire with a spare cord from the supplies that Himiko had brought you to help quickly prepare the last minute recruits.

“So all a'm needin' tae dae is fin’ where Ember is hiding ‘n’ open th’ top ‘n’ point?” Merida asked as she started unscrewing the top. You reach over and stop her.

“According to Supergirl, you don’t have a lot of power, so don’t open until you see her,” You tell her while screwing the top back on tight. Merida ended up joining your team partially out of pity and due to being underestimated. Her sharp eyes will be able to find and track Ember and due to Femputer designating her a servant/cannon fodder; barely any of the enforcers will pay her much attention. Thankfully the thermos doesn’t look outwardly like a Fenton Thermos (thank you Himiko for ‘decorating’ it with stickers and drawings).

You soon finish fixing up Vivi’s weapons; you hope Vivi will be a great boon during this confrontation/fight that Himiko, Lusamine, and Supergirl planned. You recalled that she used a hypnosis technique to distract enemies once or twice during the One Piece anime and you hope that it could help tip the scales a bit. Your group might need all the help you could get since out of the blue, Supergirl mentioned that there might be some kryptonite around.

“Hey, I brought an early lunch,” Himiko said as she entered the room. She had a tray with enough food for everyone gathered in your room.

“Thanks Himiko,” you say, grabbing a plate of replicated ham and cheese sandwich. As you are eating, you decide to ask Toga a question.

“You sure I can’t join you all at the ambush and fight?” You say causing Himiko to cock her head.

“I don’t know, they will know something is wrong if you are outside of your room and we already have enough distractions going,” Himiko replied.

“I can help,” you gave her a determined look before grabbing something from Nami’s plate. “Plus, you just brought me something that can help us out.” You hold the tangerine out and it splits apart as branches and leaves start growing.

Himiko and the gathered characters look at the growing tangerine tree and then at each other.
