Jabo's Proposal

"I think we're a good fit, Elizabeth," Jabo said. It was odd. Awkwardness was unlike him. And at the country club to boot, where he always maximized his gregarious swagger.

"I think so too," Elizabeth agreed, her eyes sparkling. They sparkled even more, seeing the large diamond that Jabo said.

"I want you to be my wife," Jabo said. "I'll bring you into everything, fully. You'll know all, you'll be my rock, my sounding board. You'll bear my children. But you'll commit fully too. So the only question is, are you up to the challenge?"
