It's a Surprise!

The week went on in something of a haze for Tom. Nothing seemed to slow down how horny Lisa and her bodies were. Within a few days, her Tally body had officially moved in with them. Tom now slept with a hot naked girl on each side, and they took to waking him up with blow jobs. The Lisa and Tally bodies would switch off who was servicing him while the other took a shower, brushed her teeth, or made breakfast. Tally, it turned out, gave some pretty enthusiastic wake-up head considering she had been fully a lesbian until a few days earlier.

Marissa stayed at her university housing, while Tom’s boss Cathy kept her apartment (it was very nice, but not very big), as it had been judged by Lisa that it was better for them to keep those places for now. Still, Lisa’s other bodies hung out quite a bit. When they did, they didn’t wear a lot of clothes. It was going to take Tom more than a few days to get used to walking into a random room in his house to find his boss or a hot college student, often wearing just panties or nothing at all. Frequently that person would then try to bone him.

With four bodies, Lisa was able to free up one of them for sexy times with him several times a day. She told him that she just wanted him to relax and she would take care of him. It was common for her to fuck him, cook dinner, and study for Marissa’s classes, all at the same time with different bodies. She had always loved sex, but not quite this much. He had to believe the nanobots were doing something to her. He also realized that she had never cooked before, but now seemed to be really good at it. So for the most part, he let Lisa take the lead.

When she wasn’t blowing Tom, the Tally body spent a lot of time at the university lab, as part of the ongoing nanobot project. She was studying them, Lisa told him, trying to figure out how the worked and maybe how to control them better. She could mentally control whether the nanobots went into some part of her body or transferred to another person, but she still worried that expanding might have consequences she couldn’t control, to change who she was without her necessarily even realizing it.

This might have had something to do with the fact that Lisa hadn’t brought in any new people since Cathy. Tom had to admit he was a little worried that he was going to suddenly find out after the fact that Lisa had taken over the bodies of an entire sorority, as she had hinted at before. Well, maybe “worried” wasn’t the right word. But so far, that had not happened, and he and the hive mind lived in domestic bliss.

On Friday morning, however, Lisa announced that they would be having a little get together that evening. “Just some friends,” she assured him. “Nothing major. We’ll just maybe hang out in the pool a little bit, maybe play some board games. It’s been forever since we got to catch up with some folks.”

Tom, however, suspected that there was more to this plan, a suspicion further exacerbated by Lisa’s refusal to tell him who was actually coming over, on the grounds that she wanted it to be a “surprise,” and also by the fact that none of her bodies tried to have sex with him all day, almost as if she was trying to save up for something.

Still, she succeeded in surprising Tom. Over the course of about twenty minutes early that evening, four different women arrived at Tom and Lisa’s door:

The first was Vicki, his girlfriend before Lisa, from several years earlier. They had never been head-over-heels like he and Lisa, but they had some great times together. She was always smarter, more ambitious than he was. They had broken up because she went out of town for law school and they didn’t think they were ready for a long-distance relationship. He’d heard she was back in town in a hot-shot firm job.

“I was surprised when Lisa contacted me,” Vicki told him, “we’ve never actually met before. But I thought it might be fun to meet her and for us to catch up. I brought wine!”

The next to show up at the door was Tom’s step-sister, Ashleigh. Their parents had gotten together when she was 12 and he was 9. This always led to something of an awkward relationship as kids, but as adults they really got along and he had always seen her as something of a mentor figure. Plus, she was a successful nurse. She had really helped him through some of the times with Lisa in the hospital. Normally, Tom would have been thrilled to see her, but he found himself not sure if he wanted to know what Lisa’s motivation was for inviting her.

She hugged him as soon as she walked in the door. “I was so thrilled to hear that Lisa was doing better,” she said. “How are you doing?”

“Oh, you know, it’s been crazy,” Tom said.

“I’ll bet,” Ashleigh agreed. “Well, just try to relax tonight.

A few minutes later, his friend Blaire came to the door. She had been a tomboy in high school, and they had always been hanging out together. He had a major crush on her. He had asked her to prom, but she said no because she didn’t want to ruin their friendship. She had definitely filled out a little since then and had a great job in the town mayor’s office. They had last talked a few weeks before the accident with Lisa, where Blaire told him she had just broken up with her long-term boyfriend.

“Great to see ya, Tom!” she said with a smile. “I know it’s been hard lately, I’m happy to hear Lisa’s doing better. And I’ve had a pretty hard week myself, I’d love to try out your pool.”

Tom pointed her inside.

Just behind her came a redhead who Tom did not recognize. She awkwardly introduced herself as “Christie, Tally’s friend.” Tom brought her inside where the group was already hanging out on the back patio.

“Can I talk to you in private?” he asked Lisa. She nodded and the two of them went in the kitchen while Tally and Marissa stayed out back, introducing themselves as friends of Lisa’s and chatting with the rest of the group.

“I need you to be honest with me,” Tom said. “Did you bring my ex-girlfriend, my childhood friend, and my step-sister here tonight so you could assimilate them?”

“I don’t assimilate anyone,” Lisa protested. “Everybody who is part of the hive mind is still here, they’re just part of something bigger.”

“You’re not answering my question,” he pointed out.

“OK, fine, yes,” she admitted. “Look, I get that it could be a little weird and even stalkery, like I’m trying to take over all the parts of your life, but here’s the thing: I’m doing this for us. I do want to expand, you know that. I want to be the best me I can be, and I want to give you the college gymnastics team Marissa has her eye on. Can you imagine me in bed with the skills of an entire gymnastics team?”

Tom stared at her. “Look, that’s not the point,” she continued. “I want to be Lisa: the Superspreader Event. But before I do that, I need to have all my ducks in a row. One thing I want to be certain about is that I don’t lose myself, that’s part of what the research at the lab is for. But something else I want to make absolutely sure of is that I don’t lose us. So here I am, hedging my bets. Before I start bringing in a bunch of other people, I want as many parts of me as possible to care about you, to know you, to love you. That way it won’t matter how many of the gymnasts have boyfriends or whatever. Plus, all the girls we invited have great skills and jobs that, once they’re in, all of me will have.”

“If I asked you not to, would you not do it?” Tom asked. “I support you, but a couple of those people mean a lot to me. I don’t want to lose them.”

Lisa put a tender hand on the side of his face. “Don’t ask me not to, baby,” she said. “You’re not losing them. They’re being given the chance of a lifetime! I don’t know if you believe me, but I’m telling you the truth: nobody who has become part of me so far has regretted it for a second.”

Tom looked out at all the beautiful girls talking on the patio. He had a feeling that, if not this exact thing, something kind of like this was going to happen eventually whether he liked it or not. At least these were mostly people he knew and trusted, he started to rationalize. Then, a thought occurred to him.

“Wait, are you planning to fuck me with my sister Ashleigh’s body?” he asked with an eyebrow raised.

Lisa dropped her hand from his face and shrugged. “First of all, step-sister. That makes it way less weird, just ask any porno. You can’t tell me you’ve never thought about it. But to be clear… she would get to be part of that decision. So I can’t actually tell you until she’s a part of me. And I mean, you obviously don’t have to if you don’t want to, I’ll have plenty of bodies to choose from.”

Tom thought about this. “But she would still be able to feel it? Whichever body you were using?”

“I feel like you’re getting hung up on the wrong part here. All of me is in all of my bodies all the time.”

After a final pause, he asked, “So, what about Christie there? I’m pretty sure we’ve never met before.”

Lisa grinned. “Ah, that’s the thing. You wouldn’t know it to look at her, but she works security backstage at the University Arena.”

“OK,” Tom said, clearly not getting it.

“Guess who’s playing the University Arena next month?” Lisa didn’t wait for him to guess. “Serena Wisdom!”

She let that sink in with a huge grin as Tom realized the full extent of Lisa’s ambitions. Serena Wisdom, usually referred to just as “Serena,” was a serious candidate for biggest pop star in the world at the moment. And Lisa clearly had designs on bringing her into the fold.

“You don’t look as happy as I thought you might,” Lisa said. “I mean, she _is _your hall pass.”

“The whole point of hall passes is that you never get to use them!” Tom pointed out. Lisa just gave him an impish grin. He sighed. He would have to figure that one out some other time, there were more pressing concerns. Should he make a big stink about Lisa bringing several of the most important women in his life into her hive mind, or not? Moment of truth.
