He Trusts Lisa

Tom looked into his girlfriend’s eyes, her original eyes, and she seemed entirely in earnest. She had done so much for him, and he had never gone wrong trusting her so far.

He took a deep breath and said, “OK, but you have to promise me you’ll take good care of them.”

“Again, they’ll still be here,” Lisa said. “Nobody’s going anywhere, they’re just getting… upgraded. But I appreciate your faith in me, baby, really.”

She kissed him deeply, and then went back out into the backyard to meet up with the others.

Most of the group soon came inside, chatting and laughing in the living room. Marissa and Tally did their best to entertain the rest with stories from their time at school and suggested possible games they could play. Only Tom noticed that Lisa and Vicki weren’t around. He excused himself, went to the kitchen, and looked out into the backyard where the pool was. He saw that the two women had already changed into their bathing suits and now sat side by side, drinking wine with their feet trailing in the water.

“I can see you’ve been really good for him,” Vicki was saying. “I’ve wondered whether I did the right thing sometimes, giving him up. The two of us could never have had this, the domestic tranquility and all that.” She gestured around at the pool and the house. “I would never be around, for one thing. I work all the time.”

“Well, maybe it’s selfish, but I’m glad it worked out the way it did,” Lisa said. “And you’ve got your great job, right?”

Vicki sighed. “I don’t know. Sometimes I wonder if being a lawyer was a huge mistake. It’s just so stressful, all the time, and I’m in it, all the time. There’s no guy in my life because I don’t have time for anyone.” She looked up at Lisa, then said, “Sorry, you don’t need to hear me talk about how much I hate my $150k a year job. You were literally in a frickin’ coma. What was that like?”

Lisa shrugged. “I mostly don’t remember the actual coma part. But it gave me… a new perspective, I guess? Like I’m part of something bigger.”

“Maybe that’s what I need,” Vicki said, taking another sip. “To feel like I’m a part of something.”

Lisa smiled. “You’re very beautiful, you know. Tom has good taste.”

“You are, too,” Vicki agreed. “You’re sort of a knock-out. Tom’s really lucky.”

A beat later, Lisa suddenly leaned over and kissed Vicki. At first, the other woman seemed taken aback, but then for a few seconds, she was kissing Lisa back.

A second later, it was like Vicki realized what she was doing and pulled away from the kiss. “I-I’m sorry,” she said, “I don’t… boy, Tom hit the jackpot with you, huh?”

“No, I’m sorry,” Lisa said. “I don’t know what I was doing. I’ve been really all over the place lately.”

“No, really, I…” Vicki hesitated. “I mean, you are nice and… extremely pretty, and I have been lonely. If you and Tom wanted to… wanted to…”

She trailed off, and Tom watched Vicki get quiet and stare off into space for several seconds. He wasn’t sure what he was expecting, maybe convulsions and foaming at the mouth. But Vicki just sort of sat there, while Lisa watched her intently. Then she slumped forward and Lisa caught her, holding her up.

Then, slowly, Vicki opened her eyes. Blinked. Then she leaned up and kissed Lisa, much harder this time. Tom had a feeling his ex-girlfriend was in the club now.

He walked out to see the two of them. “How’s it going?” he asked with some trepidation.

“Hi baby,” said Vicki, her face wearing a smile identical to Lisa’s. It was sort of uncanny, given that he’d known Vicki before. She stretched her arms and legs, luxuriating in her new form. “Shit, you have no idea how good this feels. It’s like everything makes sense. And Vicki’s really smart, I can already tell.”

“I can remember how good your dick felt inside Vicki’s body,” Lisa said in a sultry tone. “I can’t wait to feel that again. Only this time, we’ll be way more adventurous.”

“But not yet,” Vicki picked back up. She stood up from the poolside. “We have work to do.”
