In Kotal's Koliseum

Within the Outworld Koliseum, the cheering from a crowd can be heard along with the sound of combat raging on from within it.

From within the arena, Juri Han faced off against a generic Tarkatan Warrior, whose body was battered and bruised from the battle. Juri, on the other hand, hadn't had a single scratch on her. Sitting in the center, on his throne, was Shao Kahn, who looked on at the battle with a rather uninterested look on his face.

The Tarkatan desperately rushed forward and tried to swipe at the taekwondo practitioner with his arm blade, but with ease, Juri dodged, stepping back just out of the range of the blade. And as quickly as she stepped back, Juri sprung forward, slamming her elbow into the Tarkatan's abdomen before raising her leg and kicking the Warrior so hard that he flew off, crashing into the nearest wall in the Koliseum. A sadistic grin formed on Juri's lips as she looked at her defeated opponent. "Aw! Did I break my toy already?" Juri taunted.

Shao Kahn looked over toward the Korean woman and narrowed his eyes in annoyance. Raising his hand, he called forth, "Mileena, take care of this fool!" And with that, a single flew into the arena, spinning around as it fell. Its middle prong pierces the ground three meters in front of Juri. The martial artist starred at the sai in amused curiosity, though her amusement soon turned to surprise once the sai began to glow, a purple aura surrounding it along with its user, who teleported right to her weapon's location in a crouched position. The woman wore a purple and black outfit, with the most notable part being the purple mask covering her mouth and nose. She had unkempt black hair and striking yellow eyes with slit pupils. She was Juri's opponent, Mileena. The Half-Tarkatan stood up from her crouched position, picking up her sai as she did, and looked her opponent dead in the eyes

The surprise on Juri's face was quickly swept away and was replaced by a sadistic smirk forming on the edge of her lips, "Oh~, now you look appetizing!" The former Shadaloo member spoke with sadism dripping from her voice as she took a fighting stance.

Mileena twirled the sai in her hand before sheathing it. "Funny, I could say the same." The Princess retorted, though with a more sinister tone as she spoke.
