I Just Want Some Alone Time! That's Apparently Too Much to Ask

Yuri really wanted some time to himself, especially with all the women around him basically looking at him like he was a piece of some kind of exotic meat or lost art piece that needs to have constant surveillance. He decided to head out to investigate things on his own after meeting Lithira and Usagi. And like clockwork, he was picking up on them and Theslia following him from an uncomfortable distance. He took some more notes regarding plants that usually ended up on the fetch requests before heading back and turning everything over to Selvina. He then went to the inn and requested the room with the most locks, the innkeeper, a catgirl that looked like an anthro Turkish Angora with fawn patterned fur, gave him a saucy little wink and a salacious lick of her lips, he had fucked her just the other night (to his great displeasure, and it had been at the insistence of a priestess that wanted to know what it would be like to be in a three-way), without asking for payment, chances were his boinking her was enough of a "payment" for the rest of the month, maybe longer if he had been willing to impregnate her at the time, which he wasn't.

Thelsia, Lithira, and Usagi kept up the following from a distance, Yuri made his way into the room then closed the door before the sound of a half-dozen locks being set could be heard. Thelsia swore under her breath, she had enchanted some of the locks for the room, but not all of them, to help with privacy issues, and set the enchantments in long term by casting them as a ritual, and Yuri knew this. What they didn't hear was Yuri setting the chair inside against the door to make the door's handle basically non-functional, and blocks of ordinary wood against the window locks so as to prevent them from coming undone by outside forces before drawing the window's curtains closed. The next thing the ladies from outside heard was the thud of Yuri's figure hitting the bed. Yuri had admitted to Thelsia that he was lacking proper attire, in his words, and she knew this meant he basically slept in the nude.

"Do either of you ladies know how to pick locks," Thelsia inquired to the demon-kin and rabbit woman, "some of the locks are protected by magic, and even if they weren't the spells I know for undoing locks can be quite loud, and that would work against us for this stealth operation." It had been almost a week since Yuri had fucked Theslsia, but she was already acting like she might be a bit addicted to having Yuri's dick inside her.

"I can," said Usagi, "but I won't just yet, I want him to trust me, and breaking into his room while he's sleeping on the same day we met would do more harm than good in that regard."

"I suppose your point is valid," said Thelsia.

"She does have a point," said Lithira, "his sort are exceedingly rare to come across, the last thing we want to do is ruin our chances with him."

Almost 5 hours later the three could hear Yuri moving in the room and undoing his work. They all stepped to the side and Thelsia quickly muttered an invisibility spell and disappeared from sight, Lithira looked over at where the mage had been in confusion, when she looked back to where Usagi had been the rabbit woman had pulled her own disappearing act. Lithira silently cursed to herself before quickly stepping into a shadow nearby and seemingly disappearing herself. Just in time for her to witness Yuri leaving the room and returning the key to the front desk and head outside the complex.

In seemingly no time, her two accomplices were back at her sides as she heard some arcane muttering and found herself in the shroud of an invisibility spell with both Thelsia and Usagi. They followed Yuri as he returned the guild building and met with Selvina again, they discussed him having actual pay so he could at least purchase things the way everyone else did when away from the town. Yuri also asked about the name of the town, Selvina answered with a statement about the name of the town in a sort of state of flux, it currently had no official name but had gone through at least a dozen names the previous year with almost 2 official names per month before it was decided to leave the town nameless until a later date. Yuri gave a comment about towns being named for resources or given names by individuals of some level of importance to the town. He even talked about how one town got its name as a joke by its founder.

All in all, there just wasn't anything of significant importance to warrant the town even having a name. Of course, with Yuri basically being an impromptu resident that might change. Yuri still wasn't sure much longer he would be hanging around the town, especially with him basically having to satiate the sexual urges of most of the women in town every few days. He said something about sticking around for another few weeks before actually going out for an extended period of time. Of course, he would be stocking up on some provisions and equipment before then.

After his chat with Selvina he headed downstairs to chat with the staff in the backroom to see how their checking errors was going, they said something about finally getting the flow to work recently. After that, he headed to the inn with the same request. The invisibility spell had worn off by then and the 3 purchased the rooms surrounding Yuri's so they could keep close to him without arousing suspicion or Yuri's ire.

"Never a dull moment with those girls," Yuri muttered to himself as he finished securing the room and slipping his attire off. He really needed to wash his clothing, but it had been ages since he did anything resembling washing clothes by hand. Yuri wondered if there was him to replicate a laundry mat in this world, he remembered reading an isekai story where the main character had done just that, if he remembered right, it had something to do with slimes, or was that the story about someone reincarnating as a slime in another world? Probably somewhere between the two. Anyway, it might take some time to work out the logistics for that sort of business, and there was the whole securing a complex for the business side of things, he was already basically house hunting.

Even so, he hadn't imagined he would be tailed for most of the day by 3 hotties, probably would have been 4 if Selvina thought she could get away with it as well. It would have definitely been unimaginable back home, that's for sure, he didn't think he was that attractive. Then again, familial comparisons had probably messed up his understanding of such things. He just hoped he didn't have a repeat of the day anytime soon as he hit the lights and went to bed. He really hoped he could get some actual alone time in this world soon, otherwise he might just crack, and probably not in a fun way.
