Hermione

The battle began with Hermione and Ginny flinging spells at each other. Their wands sparked to life as disarming spells went out both intending to incapacitate and pin the other. But alas Hermione lost her wand first and in turn Ginny was about to follow up with a spell shot to stun her. Hermione managed to dodge it before charging into Ginny's mid-section tackling her into the mud. Hermione attempted to pin Ginny but the girl flung a bit of the mud into Hermione's face giving Ginny an opening to **** her off.

The two witches circled each other their wands hidden somewhere in the mud thus forcing them to go physical. Thankfully Hermione was a muggleborn and she knew what muggles lacked in magic they made up for in three things, ingenuity, strength, and brains. The two then charged at each other both attempting to get the upper hand on the other.

They went at each other grabbing and struggling but thankfully Hermione was a military child thanks to her father. So, pinning Ginny was a simple task. Shoving Ginny's head into the ground Hermione knew one of two things will happen a ten count or Ginny taps out.

In the end Ginny tapped out when she got Hermione's arm. Ginny was freed and Hermione stood over the beaten witch. "Round 1 goes to Hermione." Harry announced and thus both girls returned to their corners to prepare for round 2.
