He discovers he is God

In the past, James usually had nightmares about the people in his past and how they would hurt him. However, today was different as he had a peculiar dream when he is sleeping. God has told him that since they no longer wants to be God, they had chosen a successor, and that successor is James, due to the luck of the draw.

James starts to question why God had chosen to give up their power but he is promptly woken up by an alarm.

It is 3pm in the afternoon. James thought that dream was meaningless as it can't even wake him up at 9am.

He blinks.

It is 9am in the morning. James is confused. He thought it said 3pm in the afternoon. He really must be sleeping.

He goes downstairs. His parents are downstairs surprised he woke up so early. They start sarcastically congratulate him for doing a basic task. He wishes they shut up.

They stop talking.

He asks what's for breakfast. His mother says oatmeal. He sees his bowl of oatmeal. It looks disgusting. He wishes for pancakes.

He blinks.

In front of him are pancakes. This definitely alerts James to notice the strange happenstance that is occurring around him. First, the clock, then his parents, then his breakfast.

There could only be three situations to this; either he is still dreaming, this is a prank or he is God.

He goes upstairs to check on his hypothesis, excusing himself from the table.

He locks his room and looks himself in the mirror. He pinches himself. He feels it. He is not dreaming.

This left only situation 2 or 3. He tries something that wouldn't be affected by a normal prank. He takes off his trousers. He wishes for a 16 inch penis. He blinks.

He opens his eyes and sees a 16 inch penis dangling from his crotch. This isn't a prank. His hypothesis has led to only one conclusion. He is a wish maker or as the entity said to him in head last night, God.
