Chapter 4 by darkdragon120 darkdragon120

Who was it?

Grace Choi, the Half-Amazon Juggernaut

A towering woman stood behind where Atomic Skull previously did. And when I say towering, I am not exaggerating. She was easily 7 feet tall at least. Her towering from was dressed in a skin tight red sleeveless top that showed off her midriff and damn was she cut as fuck. On her stomach was a tattoo of the sun, and her arms were decorated with tribal tattoos. Every tattoo on display was glowing red with power. Her purple eyes were radiating a righteous fury, with the sheer weight of her power her long auburn hair was floating around her like she was underwater.

All of that happened in a split second, and her hair dropped down, once again following the law of gravity. It seemed like it was more of a suggestion to her. The tattoos returned to a normal black inky color. She was breathing heavily as she walked over towards me, and grabbed me by the arm. It was a surprisingly gentle grip considering her size. She placed me back down on my feet, I stumbled but caught myself before I fell over.

"Woah, you good bro?" She asked.

I nodded, I didn't trust myself to speak. My entire body was wracked with pain.

"You know, for someone who just fought a living nuclear weapon and lost, you are holding yourself pretty well." She had a smirk on her face, although there was an odd look in her eye.

My voice came out raspy, "I appreciate the complement, but no. I'm not."

The rubble from the building she knocked Atomic Skull into shifted, as the man of the hour pulled himself out of the debris. His fire was significantly duller and he stumbled but he still looked like he could fry me, so that's no good.

"That was cheap shot, bitch." He spat on the ground. Most of it was radiation, but some of it was blood.

Interesting.

The goliath of a woman next to me growled in anger. He tattoos lighting up again as her muscles tensed.

"I'd watch how the fuck you speak to me, little man." She smirked again, although there was no mirth in it this time, "Before I fucking liquefy you."

She clenched her fists and tilted her neck to side, cracking it. The dangerous, almost feral grin on her face filled me with fear and... arousal? Damn, I got issues I guess. Not that I didn't already know that.

She sniffed the air, and her face got even more wild. Her violet eyes were almost crackling with energy as she pushed herself off the ground with a roar and a laugh. Damn, she got issues too, huh? As she made it across a distance that must've been eighty feet in a split second she slammed her fist into his face again, and with her off-hand grabbed him by the leg before he flew off in a display of lightning fast reflexes, and slammed him into the street below. Laughing with joy, she tossed the freshly beaten Atomic Skull to the side like a discarded toy.

She stood at attention for a few minutes, to make sure he didn't move. His clothes were tattered, and his flames were extinguished, showing a horribly burned and mutilated face. When he didn't get back up, she relaxed, her tattoos extinguished. She walked over to the villain, and checked his pulse, sighing in relief when he still had a pulse. As she was otherwise occupied, I could disappear. So that's what I did, dipping into the nearest alleyway and booking it towards my apartment. I climbed the fire escape and entered in through my bedroom window, stripping myself down and discarding the destroyed suit. It's a good thing I had spares made just in case this didn't work out.

"Azure day one was... pretty shit," I winced in pain as my ribs and burns flared with pain, "but it's a work in progress."

He looked at the gi over in the corner, "Work is gonna be hell tomorrow..."

Anything happen between now and then?
