Chapter 4 by broom11 broom11

What to do, to stop your friend whining about his life?

Give him a good reason, to turn down the lovely Rachel.

Physically Adam is nothing special. He’s always been on the lanky side and his face is just ‘pretty ok’ as far as you can tell: plain brown hair in a boring cut, clean-shaven, pale blue eyes, a nice jawline…. He doesn’t exactly ooze sex appeal, but Rachel wouldn’t have to ask him to turn off the light during sex, either. If he’d stop slumping Adam might even border on good-looking, now that you think about it.

About four years ago, you and Adam started at the company at the same time, and hit it off during orientation. It is nice to spend lunchbreak with someone sharing a similar taste in movies and games, so the two of you sharing a public bench in the nearby park ( or a table in the coffee-corner during foul weather ) as you eat lunch has become a bit of a ritual.

Just two guy sharing a break and talking about whatever for an hour. The occasional movie or evening at the bar. That’s all this really is to you.

Which makes it slightly awkward that Adam considers you a good friend. It’s not that you dislike the guy. You wouldn’t have spent weeks consoling him when his relationship of six years imploded spectacularly, if you didn’t like the guy. But you are pretty sure he is a lot more emotionally invested in this than you are.

Which might explain why you are willing to upend his life, for being mildly annoying.

“The real reason why you didn’t take Rachel up on her offer, is that you were afraid what’s in your pants would never live up to her expectations..”

Adam gives you a hurt look “It’s not all about size. ”

“Yes. ” you agree. “But we both know Rachel was expecting to find a dick if she got into your pants. And your clit may be a bit larger than average but that doesn’t change the fact that you have a tight little pussy between your legs. ”

As far as you can tell nothing has changed about Adam after that statement, but then again the largest change would be hidden by his pants wouldn’t it. “What are you talking about?” His voice seems to be a bit higher, at least. Or he is just nervous, because his friend just randomly accused him of being secretly a girl.

“I am saying, that you’ve been happy to let everybody assume you are a dude because you have no curves to speak of and are pretty tall, “ you insist ” but you are actually a girl called Robin. ”

Adams features do seem a bit softer, at second glance, but you aren’t sure it worked until Robin slumps and asks “How’d you find out?”

“Sylvia told me, a few weeks after you guys broke up. ”

“That bitch!”

“She wasn’t trying to screw you over. She was genuinely worried how you’d take the break-up. That you’d refuse to face the fact, that were repeating your biggest regret from your school days. When you were a kid you went along with being called the Boywonder because you because play with the boys was more fun anyway. And by the time highschool rolled around you had been doing it for so long, that it felt way too late to tell your friends that you were just a huge tomboy without everything becoming super awkward. And things just snowballed from there. How you quit your work at the auto-shop because you loved the work but couldn’t stand the idea of having to keep up the lie for years and years while you stayed in your hometown. “ Which was pretty close to the truth, with Adam originally quitting because the roughshod work-environment got to much for him ” You wanted to get a fresh start when you came here, but then you met Sylvia who genuinely loved you but was just bicurious enough that you being a girl wasn’t a total dealbreaker. That you were doing everything in your power to cater to the fact that she vastly prefers guys, only made her love you even more. That she couldn’t stand seeing you repeat your greatest regret for her sake is just another proof that she really did become a better person thanks to you. ”

“No.” Adam protests “That isn’t what happened.”

Of course it isn’t. The real Sylvia was a selfish manipulative asshole, and their actual relationship had been a co-dependent mess until she left Adam. You just thought replacing that with a flawed but loving relationship, was the least you could do for Adam in thanks for being your guinea pig.

But maybe you pushed too far too fast? “It isn’t?” you are genuinely curious what version Robin remembers.

“Ok, that is pretty much what happened. ” Robin admits finally “It feels wrong but…, ” she lets out a frustrated sigh “yeah, most of that is correct. But Sylvia left because she wanted a real man. she told me so herself.”

So it worked. It actually worked! Your friend has gone from a guy to secretly having been a girl all along. You had expected to have to work a LOT harder for such an unbelievable turn of events to come true. The sheer amount of coincidences necessary to keep up that sort of epic misunderstanding for over a decade is….. staggering.

And you aren’t even sure if it is reversible. Oh you can probably turn Robin back into a guy. But there is no guarantee that he’d get the same life back he had before you messed around with his past. That’s why you started off with something that would leave his biography mostly unchanged.

But having come this far, you really want to press on to the fun stuff. Because you can’t deny having this much power over your friend is kind of a turn-on in and of itself. But you can do so much better than a girl that looks like a lanky dude with a bad haircut. That was just to establish a baseline.

The fun part will be making sure your friend Robin will never have to complain about going to bed alone ever again. The only vexing thing is that you have about a dozen ideas how to do it, and you can’t really use them all at once.

Maybe you should get Adams opinion on this? It seems only fair, since it is still his life. On the other hand, he’d probably start complaining right away no matter how much you improve Robins life.

Which… might actually add to the fun. Letting your friend struggle a bit would make things a lot more interesting. You could even make a game out of it.Probably a pretty rigged game if you are honest, but at least Robin would feel like she had some say in the matter.

What's in store for Robin?
