Give Up And Fulfill Her Purpose

"You'd do anything I say?"

"Yes." She wore a smile as wide as the Cheshire Cat's grin.

With such a beautiful young woman standing in front of him, willing to do anything, Dane couldn't help but propose, "Come and kiss me."

She leaned in and kissed him, without a moment's hesitation. Dane closed his eyes, letting the moment sink in. It was his first kiss, and he was enjoying every second of it...

...until his phone rang. He eased away from her lips and picked up the call. After a minute on the phone with his mother, he put down his phone and shifted his attention back to her. She was looking at him with puppy-like devotion. Dane couldn't help but get lost in her gaze.

Grrr. His stomach rumbled. "Are you hungry?" he asked as he headed into the kitchen for food.

"Nope. I don't get hungry." She replied. Definitely not human.

Dane munched on a piece of bread as he contemplated what to do about her. His parents would be home soon and she would have to vanish again. He tried to come up with excuses for her having to live with them but to no avail. His parents simply wouldn't accept them. It's a secret I'll have to keep.

Dane then went over some things with her. "You'll need to stay invisible whenever anyone besides me is around. And you'll only reveal yourself when I tell you to. Understood?"

"Yes!" She nodded.
