Get to work.

You figure now is as good a time as any to get to work, so you inform Grillby of your decision. Grillby seems a bit surprised that you would want to start working so soon, but pleased nonetheless. Grillby reaches under the counter and comes back with a clipboard. He hands you the clipboard and you see that it's a checklist of sorts. It seems all you need to do is go around to the empty tables and booths, collect the dishes and put them in the dishwasher, bring out the food and drinks that Grillby makes, as well as a few other miscellaneous tasks that Grillby might need help with. It doesn't look very difficult, and you tell Grillby you'll get started on it.

You spend a few hours cleaning up the empty tables, bringing customers their meals and drinks, and even restocking some of the bottles of **** behind the bar. As it turns out, the fire door you saw earlier doesn't lead outside, but instead leads into a kitchen area, with a stock room past that. An inspector might call the misleading fire door a "hazard," but seeing as you aren't one, you don't worry about it. There isn't much to do at first, but slowly customers start coming in, until the whole place is packed with chattering groups of both Humans and Monsters. Just as the rush starts to get into full swing, you see Grillby waving you over. When you walk up to Grillby and ask him what he needs, he silently hands you an envelope. After opening the envelope, you see that it has 200 G in it. You think Grillby is saying that you've done enough for today, and now you can clock out. You're about to ask whether it's really a good idea for you to stop working just as the rush is starting, but you see a green flame woman step out from the fire door and start managing all the customers, so it seems like they have it handled.

With that settled, you pocket the G and step out of the pub and say goodbye to Grillby. Grillby simply nods as he watches you step out of the pub. You think about where you could go next, while looking at the sky. The sun has made some progress in it's descent, so you might have enough time to visit one more location before you should return to Kris' apartment.
