Forbidden Forest

The couple entered the Forbidden Forest being careful as they moved not sure if their beast tongue truly worked. They had long since arrived at the last known campsite of the Centaurs and needless to say it was a sad site as not even the Centaurs were spared the wrath of divinity. Their weapons laid forgotten on the ground as their camp had been left abandoned and empty.

"How cruel." Hermione said sad for the Centaurs.

"They had nothing to do with this. Why?" Harry asked and thus Hermione had an idea.

"The divine beings Adam and Eve spoke of may have been blinded by rage." Hermione said and in turn they were reminded of the sad fact of the scene. "Let's keep going." Hermione said and thus they continued their walk through the forest knowing that there was nothing that can be done.

"If the centaurs were not spared what about the animals?" Harry asked referring to those like Buckbeak.

"We'll have to wait and see." Hermione said hoping and praying something had made it through this chaos.
