Flashback how Manjiro met Kanae

*Wow did i just die* i looked around and found myself in a big lobby, "i see your awake" a girl with short brown hair began talking to me, "hello i'm going to show you around Manjiro".

*Time Skip*

I was getting ready for the tradition of the einherjer called Battle, we basically team up and kill each other, but we are of course just getting woken up from our deaths a while after, i was going in solo as i had already realised that i was stronger than nearly everybody else, and my strength only continue to grow.

I walked inside the portal and got sent in a random part of a forest, i listened and ran towards the sound of blades, i drew my own sword called the Split Soul Katana, i jumped in the battle and slashed as hard as i could at someone standing 3 meters from me.

The power from the slash cut him in half and even made a deep mark in the mountain behind him, "wow that looked way too dramatic" i mumbled and stretched my arm and pointed my other hand at the others, "blue" and they immediately got compressed together and exploded in a small pool of blood.

I seathed and began walking further into the forest away from the zone (same concept as fortnite, to gather people in a smaller area), *why hasn't i met more people* i though to myself as i heard a loud sound, when i turned around half of the trees in the forest was cut down at the trunk and a girl kneeling with her sword, "damnit i missed" the girl stood up and turned around.

It was none other than Kanae the daughter of Odin, currently bearing the title i was after, the strongest, she gave me a cold look and said "maybe not actually" the vision of my right eye turned red, i reached up and felt a huge cut over my eye, "your the last Manjiro" she smiled and walked towards me, "show me why".
