Find the boys.

The ruckus of your housemates in the common room fills your ears as you descend the stairs back to the first floor. This time, it is a feeling of blissful content that separates you from their activity instead of dread. As confused as you are over the events that just transpired in Harmony's room, a sense of weightlessness pushes your previous concerns to the back of your mind.

Making your way down the hall, deciding Brice's room might be the best place to search for your friends, you stop outside the door and knock. The sounds of laughter can be heard from within before the door opens to reveal Noah.

"Oh, hey." He greets you before noticing your expression and inviting you in. "You ok man?"

Despite its larger dimensions, the room Brice and Noah share feels more cramped than your smaller single room. Brice is sitting on what you assume is his bed, one of Noah's signature gourds in his hand. With the top off, he takes a quick sniff that causes his face to grimace in disgust

"Well look who it is." Lee says from his seat on one of the desk chairs in the back of the room. "What's up with the look? Did you get into old man Hellgrave's private stash or something?" He jokes.

"What?" You respond.

"You're looking a little tipsy." Brice clarifies, sealing the gourd and sitting it under the bed.

"Yeah, what's up with that goofy grin?" Lee adds.

"You guys won't believe what just happened." You tell them, taking a seat next to Brice.

"Oh yeah, what's that?" Noah urges you to spill it.

"I was just in Harmony's room." You begin to say.

"No way!" Lee laughs. "What does she have in that luxury suite, a throne for her royal highness?

"You were in there looking for panties weren't you?" Noah teases.

"No, nothing like that. She was there. We were arguing, tensions were high, and..." You assure them before pausing to make sure you remembered the events correctly. "All the sudden we were making out."

"Are you sure you didn't get into Hellgrave's stash?" Noah laughs while Lee and Brice look at you stunned.

"No, you should have seen her at dueling practice today. She was like a completely different person. " Brice tells Noah.

"Hell yeah, bro!" Lee exclaims jumping out of his chair to come pat you on the back. "I knew you could do it."

"Well, in that case, congrats. So are you two a thing now or what?" Noah asks.

"That's the thing. In the middle of it, she kicked me out of her room." You admit your confusion. "What's that about? What do I do now?"

"Typical Ice Queen for you." Lee laughs, not providing any insight.

"Honestly, you're probably the first person she's ever cared about aside from herself. I bet she's just as confused about it all as you are. Just give her some time and try not to come on too strong." Brice adds his typical level-headed reasoning.

"Yeah, give her the cold shoulder." Noah adds with a laugh.

"No." Brice argues. "Don't be a dick. Just give her some space and try to relax. If it happens, it happens."

"Thanks, Brice." You tell your only seemingly rational friend. "So anyway. What have you guys been up to?"

"Oh, tell him, Noah." Lee says excitedly.

"Potions of underwater breathing." Noah presents another gourd in a grand gesture.

"Yeah? What are you going to do with that? Aside from the obvious." You ask.

"My brother, who used to attend classes here, says there is an underground cavern in Seven Winds. He and his friends would hang out there. They would sometimes drink, or take girls there, or whatever they didn't want to get caught by the professors doing."

"So what's the potion for? We have to swim to get there?" You press the question.

"Yeah, it's underneath a pond covered in imp-feather lilies." He affirms.

"Ok. Sounds interesting enough. When do we check it out?" You ask.

"I have an artificing workshop tomorrow." Noah admits. "Then there is the house meeting tomorrow night. So I was thinking the day after."

"There is a house meeting tomorrow?" You are shocked you hadn't heard anything about this.

"Yeah, bro." Lee says. "Didn't you see the notice in the common room?"

"It's probably just some usual first of the year welcome, we're all a team, go House Phoenix type of thing." Brice adds his assumption.
