Find out more about this reality

As he watches his father walk away, Peter runs through what he should do next. His first instinct is to change his father back to normal, and he raises the pen ready to write it. However, it occurs to him that he should probably find out more about this reality beforehand, lest he fuck up and cause his father to be stuck as a woman. After all, since she's normal in this reality, writing "make my father back to normal" might not do anything.

After thinking for a moment, Peter wrote:

I have all the memories I would have if I was born in this reality

In an instant Peter's mind felt on fire. He felt as if he lived another life, different parts of his brain firing off to store newly created memories that felt like they where always there. Then, just as soon as it began, it was over.

Recalling his past, Peter found that he now had two sets of memories. They were practically identical, except one his dad was his dad; a slightly overweight, balding, yet jovial middle-aged man. And in the other memories his dad was a smoking hot underwear model. Yet still his dad.

Thinking further back he recalled conversations he'd had with his dad about it. His female dad. It turns out in this reality scientists discovered a way for an egg to be inseminated by another egg. In simple terms, allows for two woman to have a baby with just their genes. As for why she's still referred to as his dad, the donor that is used to inseminate the mother is referred to as the dad, in order to simplify things. Many female dads are present in this reality, something that makes his current female dad easier to accept.

These memories, while eye-opening, don't really help in turning Jeff back. So to help this, Peter wrote something else down

I know how to turn Dad back to his old self

He felt the now familiar sensation of the knowledge washing over him, and found the answer pretty simple. All he had to do was write down "Jeff is male again, like how I remember". He was about to, but he found himself conflicted. He knew he should, but there's still more fun to be had. He looked over at his beautiful female father, who was standing with the bat ready, impatiently waiting for her son to throw the ball, and made a decision.
