Fight

It was clear. Lana is being kept as a prisoner here just like her. And if they are here it is likely most of the Alliance has been either imprisoned or killed as well. She can not just sit here and wait to be rescured, she needs to rescue herself and for that she needs to continuesly fight. She can not allow herself to break in a place like this not when so many people depend on her. Azura is reminded of something her friend, the mandalorian Shae Vizla once told her. An old mandalorian saying used in times of crisis: "Ni liser abiikir, Ni liser akaanir!" "If I can still breathe, I can still fight!"

And with that phrase repeating in her head she is able to slowly reignite her fighting spirt. Light slowly returning to her eyes and her pain slowly subsiding. She would get out of here and she would free everyone else in the process. Though as she was right now she couldn´t count on brute **** to do it. Even if you discounted Vaylin besting her in their last duel, Azura is without her lightsaber or armor and would be up against **** knows how many guards if she tried to fight her way out. Not to ignore the fact that Vaylin could simply cause paralizing electroshocks to her just with the push of a button. No, Azura knows that picking a fight she has no chance of winning is a bad idea. So she decides to wait patiently, endure whatever Vaylin throws at her, and to never break or submit. She can´t even pretend to do so. As the Commander of the Alliance she is THE symbol of resistance against Vaylin and her Eternal Empire. That symbol needs to stand strong no matter what. Azura knows that for every moment she falters hundreds of other resisantce fighters would give up the fight. If she escaped by making everyone think she submitted then she would have no followers left to continue the fight.

So she begins her meditaion to steel herself for the pain and humiliation that she knows await in her future. With the path she has choosen that is all Azura can do while she waits for the perfect moment to strike back and escape. She can only hope that her allies will be able to hold out long enough on their own.
