Escape the Fortress of Solitude and try to find a way to reverse this before it's too late!

Kara needed to get out of there! But the more she resisted... the stronger the ~pretty~ thoughts grew. Never in her life did she think her mind was going to be weaponized against her, holding her hostage in her own head. Snap out of it, Kara! She'd find a way to beat this thing, she always did. That's what made her Supergirl!

~Resistance is futile, Kara!~ ~You're the last daughter of Krypton, Kara!~ ~This'll be such much easier if you just accept the new you, Kara!~

Accept it... Kara pondered for a moment. That was it!

"You're right... I am Kara Zor-El, the Last Daughter of Krypton, proud member of the House of El. I am Supergirl," Kara stated confidently. The voices in her head went quiet for a moment, as if they hadn't expected that.

~Oh... uh... Good job, Kara!~ ~Great, Kara!~ ~You've finally accepted your new self, Kara!~ ~We're so proud of you, Kara!~

The voices seemed to dissipate, though she could feel them lurking in the recesses of her mind. All she had to do was stop fighting them, it was an uphill battle in which she was only losing ground. She had a hard time even thinking of herself as Bruce anymore, but she knew the truth deep down beneath the sea of pink clogging her brain.

With her head cleared for the most part, she bolted out the door to her quarters, finding herself in a large metallic corridor. The very same one Kal walked her down shortly after he started acting strangely. Part of her wanted to investigate the source of this madness, but the deck was stacked against her. This was one of the few times in her career where she'd admit she needed help. Returning her body to normal, freeing Superman from whatever is controlling him, she needed the Bat Family. Hell, maybe even the Justice League.

Kara couldn't risk taking on the source of this virus and lose herself in the process. Her hunch was her ship had somehow corrupted the artificial intelligence that represented Jor-El, Superman's father, ~her uncle~. Dammit! The thoughts were slowly returning. She had to act fast!

She levitated off the ground, finding that flying came much more natural to her after that brainwashing English lesson. As useful as it was in the moment for navigating Superman's colossal labyrinth of a lair, it gave her a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. The powers, as incredible as they were, they weren't hers. The cool air breezing through her blonde locks, the weight on her chest, the otherworldly abilities, all served as constant reminders that she wasn't herself. Everything that defined her had been washed out and replaced. The only thing left to take was her sense of self.

Kara focused. She was coming up on the exit, two massive doors made of ice. The brisk polar winds whipping tirelessly against the fortress walls. She could hear it. The outside. All she had to do was escape and find help.

"Going somewhere, dear daughter?"

A menacingly familiar voice echoed off the chamber walls. A hologram manifested before her. Not a threat on its own, but enough to make her reflexively raise her fists. It was him! The same man from the crashed ship when she was first turned into this Kryptonian woman!

"None of your concern, ~father~!"

She grimaced, passing through him. Did she really just call him dad?
