Entertaining the Ladies

"I'm so sorry we're losing...again."

Dave smiled at Hilda after her shot missed. "That's fine. You've never played billiards before. Also Dorothy as an android has kind of an advantage in this type of game. She would have had a bigger advantage/disadvantage in poker so I thought we'd play pool instead. I don't care about winning or losing as long as we have fun." He paused. "Did you have fun?"

Hilda smiled as she slowly stood up from where she'd made her shot with his help. She wasn't quite sure if she liked the game or not... but she'd enjoyed his teaching and helping her. His arms around her, their bodies close. Still close. So close she blushed. "I did have fun," she said quietly as Dorothy made her shots one after another.

Dave smiled. "Good. That makes me glad. I enjoyed myself too." He really did. Teaching the ladies had been fun even if Dorothy did pick it up a little to easily. But casually touching them all and watching them bend over or line up their shots had been as good a reason to play as any.

Melfina smiled looking at them. "Seems to be going well..."

Dorothy nodded sinking her final ball. "I believe we have won again, Melfina."

Melfina blinked. "Oh? I see. Yes. It certainly appears to be so. Good game everyone."

"Good game," everyone repeated. "Have we all had enough of billiards?" Dave asked and they nodded.

"Five games to two," Dorothy stated. "Is there a prize for the winners?"

Dave thought. "Hmmmm that's a good point. Usually one bets on the outcome of the game but I suppose there should be a prize. Very well. Ask me for something." Hilda looks dejected... until he said, "Losers get the same thing as a consolation prize."

Dorothy gives him a look. "Is that how it works?"

Dave shrugged. "It can be for this time. We're only playing for fun."

Dorothy shook her head. "I don't particularly want anything from you. Melfina you pick."

Melfina blushed. "Who me? Well... a prize for the winners and the losers... a prize everyone can enjoy from Dave... how about a kiss?"

"Done!" Dave said quickly as Dorothy sighed. "Not much of a prize, Melfina." She looks at Melfina and Hilda's faces. "Oh very well." She looks at Dave as he appriached the MVP. "You really are a louse, David Stark."

Dave shrugged. "That's only your opinion Dorothy but I can live with that." He smirked. "Where do you want your kiss?"

Dorothy looked at him and asked. "Is my shoe a viable option?"

"Oh no!" Melfina said but Dave nodded. "It is. Do you want me to kneel down and kiss your feet Dorothy?"

Dorothy paused a long moment and then almost looked like she was going to smile before she stepped forward. "I choose my forehead, please."

Dave smiled down at the petite powerhouse. He bent down and gently placed his lips to Dorothy's forehead. "Congratulations R. Dorothy Wayneright. Please accept this victory kiss from me to you." He kissed her.

Dorothy blinked. "Thank you very much, David."

Dave smiled and stroked her hair. She was good at not showing her emotions but somewhat less successful at hiding that she had them he decided.

They parted and he approached Melfina and said, "Where do you want your kiss, Mel?"

Melfina smiled at Hilda drawing her attention. "On my cheek please! Right here." She pointed at a spot that was just to the side from the corner of her lips.

Hilda blushed. Melfina had risen the stakes and so casually!

Dave smiled and tenderly placed his lips in a kiss on the exact spot Melfina had indicated. Melfina and Dave both smiled at each other. "Congratulations, Melfina," he said softly.

"Thank you so much, David" she said softly as well. They lingered for a moment before slowly parting from each other.

Dave swallowed and approached Hilda. He smiled gently and took her hand. "Where would you like your kiss, Hilda? Anywhere is fine. I could kiss your hand or-"

Hilda had grabbed his shirt and pulled him closer. She felt his heart beating fast. Smelled his scent. He- no, she felt warm. Hot even! His eyes. She saw her reflection in his eyes. "Kiss me, please... David."

"Hilda," he whispered just before their lips met.
