Emergency Meeting

"With me. Now." You're still lost in thought when you look up and see Harmony waiting for you. You start to ask her why when she grabs your hand and practically drags you away. Her face is serious but there's something comforting about holding her hand. Harmony is the only person you've confided in. For better or worse, you trust her.

A familiar silence envelops you as you enter the library. Even in the middle of the day, students are hard at work...or just plain hard. Rebecca's owl doesn't even bother to greet you. Curiously, a raven is perched beside it. It eyes you inquisitively, but makes no sound. Rebecca herself is nowhere to be seen. You focus your ears on her office and are assaulted the familiar din of her "demonstration."

Harmony wastes no time leading you to the spiral staircase. Ordinarily, students take it up to find advanced books on specific magics. Harmony instead leads you down into the restricted section. It's dim, grey, and completely unoccupied. The section consists of a single long hallway. The walls are composed grey bookshelves packed against eachother so that no books can be retrieved. Each bookshelf has a lock which would allow it to pull out. Wooden doors with opaque glass panes sporadically break up the monotony. Harmony produces a key and unlocks one such door.

You follow her inside. Torches along the wall illuminate a small conference room. The walls, floor, and even ceiling consist of smooth grey stone, cool to the touch. The only object in the room is a circular wooden table in the center, complete with chairs. A small handful of neatly stacked books rests atop the table. Harmony sits down and opens one. You sit beside her and she shows you the page.

"Look familiar?" You look at the page to find a magic circle glowing with purple light.

"Yes! This is what Kim used."

"I thought so. It's powerful magic. Since it functions as a contract, it's nearly impossible to break."

"Contract?" You don't remember signing a contract.

"You willingly had sex with her, yes? Consensual sex is the trigger for magic, and functionally consents to the magic itself."

"That's bullshit!"

"Yes. Yes it is. But it's also how it works."

"So how do I break it?"

"I was getting there, dummy. I've found three methods. The first, is for Kim to willingly release you."

"Not likely."

"The second is to use void magic to break the curse. I've studied the spell, and I think I can teach you how to reverse it."

"That's great! But is there any reason you can't just reverse it yourself? My magic is limited and can be taken away on a whim."

"I was getting to that! Since the spell is a contract between you and Kim, it would have to be reversed on both of you simultaneously. I'll break the connection on Kim's end. As for your side of things, I've recruited a partner to break the curse on you: your familiar."

"Lunios! How?"

"I found him while out in the forest. He should have enough magical power to break the curse on you, and he doesn't even have to study."

"I have summoning right after elemental affinity. We could do it then. It takes place outside anyway." Your heart races. It's actually happening. You're actually going to break free! A pathetic question enters your mind. "Why? Why are you helping me?" Harmony blushes, but her face remains severe.

"You really are a dummy." She packs up the books. "I'll be watching you from my familiar. Make sure not to speak a word of this outside this room. In fact, try not to think of it either."

Easier said than done but you do your best. You both exit the room and the door locks behind you. Harmony produces another key for a bookshelf. She returns a couple of the books and you head to the front desk to return the last one. As you approach, Rebecca comes out of her office looking disheveled as usual. Cum covers her face and hair. The raven is still there and it eyes the book you're returning with great interest. Curious, you look into Rebecca's office and your heart sinks. Standing in the doorway, with a knowing smirk, is Nathan.

"I know what you're trying to do, slut. It won't work. I'll make sure of that."
