Don't bring the war to Dathomir

Lana: We shouldn't provoke an attack just yet, maybe the Republic could find the Sith even without the direct involvement of Dathomir! They cannot hide forever, once discovered, the Jedi will strike and end the Sith threat!

Talzin: If only it was that easy my child! But I concur, they are better left alone for now. At the meantime, I will try to prepare my clan for any possible Separatist invasion. You should return to your order and find the Sith, it is the interest of the Nightsisters and the Jedi alike. I will contact you when there will be a need for your services again.

After taking off with your ship and heading back to Coruscant, you find Ranvi and remind her of her promise, to teach you a new technique once you are done on Dathomir.

Ranvi: Oh yes, about that... It won't be easy, it takes a lot of time to practice and master!

Lana: I have mastered many techniques before, this one won't beat me either!

Ranvi: Okay, this is boing to be a very old one... Mostly forbidden by the Jedi, so don't keep running around any sharing it with the masters!

Lana: So, what is it?

Ranvi: Life draining. The Sith created this a long time ago and my clan has found a way to learn it. It essentially makes the user immune to ageing if used on a massive scale, but on the short term, it quickly heals the wounds and empowers the one who siphons the life energy of others.

Lana: Ouh, not quite the "**** is a natural part of life" philosophy! What does "massive scale" mean?

Ranvi: I believe you know the story of Darth Nihilus, that scale!

Lana: Oh, yes, soo... I should be devouring the life essence of entire planets to become immortal?

Ranvi: Something like that. So let's forget the immortality part and focus on the short term effects.

Lana: Okay, how to do that?

Ranvi: You must feel the flow of the **** around you as it touches all living beings. It flows through everything, channelling its energy. Controlling the flow of energy is a hard and dangerous thing, if you do a mistake, you might channel away your own life essence and kill yourself! So do be very careful!

Lana: Cool, I better forget the planet eating stuff for good!

Ranvi (pointing behind you): Let's try it with something small and easy. Look at that glass of water. It's filled with microorganisms, they too are touched by the ****. Try to alter its path and direct the flow into yourself.

Lana: But I don't see the little things, how will I know I succeeded?

Ranvi: You will feel their energy in yourself, though not much, but you will know if you were successful. Place your fingers in the water to create a direct physical link between you and them, to ease the channelling. Now, focus on the flow of the ****, once you can clearly feel its current, try to slowly alter it in your direction. It might take some hours to learn this even on this level, so make yourself comfortable with that position you are standing!

Lana: Hours?! I don't have that much time, we will be landing on Coruscant in about 3 hours from now! I'll want to go and create a new lightsaber as soon as I can! I feel so fragile without one!

Ranvi: Then I suggest you keep focusing on the water instead of complaining!

Lana: Alright, alright!

After an hour of tireless attempts to siphon the energy from the microorganisms, you notice a strange warmth in your hands, despite being in the relatively colder water. After telling Ranvi about it, she confirms you have managed to get the energy from them into yourself. She brings you a flower this time.

Ranvi: That was rather fast, but I shouldn't have underestimated your skills with the ****! Now, let's try to do the same with this flower. It will be bigger and the currents fill be stronger, so you will need more focus to be able to manipulate them! Let me know when you are done.

Holding the flower in your hands for about an other hour, you feel a strange tickling feeling for a second as the flower quickly withers in the palm of your hands, going yellow from green, then brown and dry, essentially losing all its life essence. Ranvi was surprised to see your quick progress, but before you could continue the training, you are arriving to the Jedi temple. Not willing to give up your training, after your report to the council, you buy some small Womp rats and continue mastering the technique in secret in your room. This one however takes longer than expected. It requires days until progress is finally made and you drain the life out of the first Womp rat. One little success won't make you a master though, thus you continue on the other rats to be able to use it flawlessly when it might be needed later. When it seems to be no problem to drain the life essence from the rats by the moment you touch them, you go to the lower levels and look for some hounds wondering the slummy sectors of Coruscant. They aren't too friendly, attacking you the moment you disturb them in the narrow alleys, but they provide excellent training material. At least a dozen are taken down by the time you are able to drain the life from one of them right after touching it. Taking a little more time to practice, you hunt a few more, before going for a bigger pray, humanoids.

The slums are full of ill intentioned criminals, who would be more than happy to rob, **** of even kill a young girl such as yourself. Changing your armour to your robe, one day you wonder down the slums again, to find potential opponents. You don't have to wait for long, before you sense the first test subject following you after turning at a corner in the dark. The man is a Rodian, not too well built, he will do nicely for a first test. You let him catch up to you, as he tries to grab your shoulder you send him tot he ground to incapacitate him, than keep focusing to drain the life out of him. It wasn't easy, but you managed it after some time. Seeing you with the dead Rodian on the ground, three others attack you with knives, but they never had a chance against a trained Jedi as yourself. All three have been stripped of their lives, giving you some practice before using it in a real combat. You have heard about a brothel nearby, where numerous outlaws tend to gather to mass **** the local **** girls for a very low price. You burst the door open and catch many of them at the middle of the act. Those who weren't at the middle of fucking the girls fire at you with blasters, you **** pull them to yourself and siphon them dry the moment you touch them. Empowered by them, you go on and kill every last one of the gangsters inside. The girls were frightened by your actions, fearing for their lives, but instead, you take off the shock collars from them and free them. They thank you many times over for ending their suffering at the place, before you all leave the building, leaving it full of lifeless corpses.

You have mastered your new **** power and it is ready to be used in combat from now on!
