How does Doctor Doom react to Moonstone's new status?
Doctor Doom Considers Moonstone's Mission Incomplete
In Doomstadt, in a certain cavern beneath the castle, in a chamber hewn from the living rock and guarded by a seven-sided door locked with seven locks, the armored monarch knelt before a pentagram formed of ten strands of golden hair. The vision that hovered above the center of that arrangement provided both sight and sound. He saw what befell Moonstone. Heard the savage words of Susan Storm-Richards as she pronounced his "partner" her personal property.
So deeply had Karla Sofen been transformed into the submissive slut that she eagerly acquiesced to her mistress' desire. All trace of the once defiant and manipulative personality was now subservient to the master personality. Left to their own devices, such a relationship could last for years. Moonstone, the Invisible Woman's personal plaything, would be there to pathetically fulfill her every whim and whimsy of sexual desire, freeing Sue to restrain herself in order to keep up appearances with her family and the public.
Doctor Doom scowled beneath his iron mask. This state of affairs would not do.
His partnership with Karla Sofen had been intended to break the Fantastic Four from within; once Reed Richard's marriage crumbled, the rest of his life would follow suit. Sue Storm was the fulcrum around which his existence rotated; she was the tether that kept him from drowning in the sea of his ineptitude as a father and a self-declared "hero."
Doom sighed. He would have to take some more direct action.
The simplest expedient would be to free Moonstone from her "prison," preferably in some way that made clear Sue Storm's attempt to keep the affair under wraps. Out in the open, her secrets exposed, Sue Storm would face questions. Eventually, her mask would slip; the new dominant personality would expose itself.
But that would require a direct assault on the Baxter Building, the very sort of thing that Doom had attempted to avoid. Nor would it be easy to conceal that Moonstone was the object of such a breakout. And she had no friends or close allies who would risk their lives for her rescue; even the Thunderbolts or Masters of Evil would not...
The Latverian hesitated, his mind tracing several intriguing paths of speculation. In the mystic vision that hovered above the pentacle, he saw only the bare expanse of flesh of Sue Storm's crotch, heard the eager lapping of Karla's tongue as she slobbered over that slit like an excited puppy.
Karla Sofen had few friends or allies; it was true...but she had many powerful enemies...
