Demon camp

After some thinking, Midnight figured it would be best to check out the demon army. He was probably going to need help when he started taking on the forces of light. As he reached that decision, he realized it was already dusk and turned to Nagi.

"Looks like training and bonding will have to wait. I'm going to need to move quickly. Preparing the spell, you place a hand on the carapace. "Check on Raquel and assist her if she needs it."

After Nagi is sent to your domain, you begin to sprint through the woods to the northeast, the direction the demon army should be camped in. Since he didnt have muscles in his shadow form, he should be able to run all through the night so long as he kept his focus and didnt phase through the ground. As he ran, he passed much of the wildlife he had encountered on the way in, from tentacled dogs, to slimes, to tree monsters but he simply gave them a wide berth. No point in wasting time on them. As he proceeded, he watched the stationary monsters grow smaller until eventually, after about 5 hours, he had reached the edge of the woods. Breaking the tree line, he saw smoke over the next rise and slowed up. He had no idea who was supposed to be leading this army, and he had no logical reason to give for asking to meet their commander. He could approach with confidence as the chosen champion of darkness, or he could sneak in and try to find what was going on first.
