What on earth is he waiting for?

David ponders a few conundrums as he sheepishly walks towards the English block. No one seems to pay him any special attention, passing students pay him no regard and mostly continue along as usual, chatting to friends or glued to a phone. A few teachers walk about their business and pay David no regard. That is until Ms, Thomas - David's senior English teacher - gives him a strange look. She was taking through her first senior class this year, & everyone agreed she was probably the best teacher in the school. Of course, she is the first teacher David stumbles across. She must have been caught off guard by the abrupt change in David's appearance, but she would be far too professional to say anything about it.

"Come in. What do you need?"

David isn't quite getting what he wants, but he senses that he's onto something here and so continues the questioning. "Tell me what you know about me" asks David.

_"And what else?" _David directs these thoughts pointedly to her. "Tell me what you know I need to hear." He thinks he is beginning to work things out...

Ms. Thomas looks visibly uncomfortable for a moment, but David's mental orders **** her to reveal to herself that she knows what David is asking about. "Anything else I need to know?

"Oh, and forget that any of this happened this morning. Just come straight back here as if you're starting the day anew. I'd like us to get reacquainted"... David smiles coyly.
