Day 11b: Host Forcing Possession
"What could go wrong?" Kloe had said the day prior, a calm smile on her face, as she sealed herself into quarantine. As a result, Ash assumed (and hoped) that when he stepped out of the elevator, he'd be greeted by Kloe's well-rested, relaxed face on the other side of the glass. Worst-case, Ash assumed that instead, her usual smile would be replaced by a seldom-seen pout due to being stuck, alone, in quarantine overnight and would only disappear after he'd bought her an overpriced coffee. The scene that greeted Ash, however, was nothing that he could've imagined.
Kloe's face was pressed up against the glass, a crazed glint in her hazel eyes. Like with her Halloween mummy "costume," the entire back half of her skinsuit-like body was split apart into countless "threads" shifting about behind her, except far more erratic and wild with their movements. All of this, all symptoms of "probably just a cold," Ash muttered again and again under his breath as he took slow, shaky steps towards the quarantine room.
Ash's mind raced as he typed away at the console connected to the quarantine room's airlock. He continued to insist to himself, again and again, that he was used to handling this sort of thing. Except... a voice in the back of his head was in complete denial, insisting that he was far, far out of his depth. People turned into ghosts, consciousnesses trapped in remote headsets, forcing space-time to bend to allow silicon and skin to occupy the same space, people forced to "loan" their body to others... a very irritated slimegirl during her time of the month, those were the sort of issues he was familiar with. A living skinsuit, seemingly gone rabid, due to what seemed to just be a fight with the common cold, this was on a whole other level.
As the first door opened up and Ash stepped inside the airlock, he couldn't help but feel just a smidge relieved. Kloe, despite her current state, couldn't have retained all her intelligence or, hopefully, hadn't gained any sort of malice or overwhelming desire to find someone to wrap herself around. If Kloe had, it was a certainty that she'd have used one of the ventilation outlets to escape. Even though they were only 4cm by 20cm at their widest and with more than enough filters and such to keep the quarantine room, well, quarantined, it'd be disgustingly easy for an intelligent and/or malicious Kloe to unfurl herself, slip inside, and be outside the facility in just a few minutes.
As the second door opened up, connecting the airlock to the quarantine room proper, Ash's heart skipped a beat. In less than a second, trillions of almost imperceptibly thin threads shot towards him as a guttural groan emanated from each and every thread. Before he could even imagine resisting, Ash felt his entire body stiffen at once, and immediately, he felt excitement fill his body, a Pavlovian response out of his control. After all, whenever Kloe was "in the mood," she'd coil around him, binding him in place, and reform herself atop or, usually, around his body.
This time was different. Rather than the comforting, intimate sensation of Kloe wrapping around him, teasing him with a bit of femdom at the start, it was terrifying. Every limb confined, without even the hint of budging, the constant groans traveling through Kloe's threads, and the frantic urgency at which the threads came together around him. Every nerve forced, rather than enticed, to be connected to Kloe's as she wrapped around his body, his vision taken away without any sort of gentleness or forewarning...
Ash forced himself to hold back the rising urge to vomit as he became fully connected to Kloe, the process of connecting to her not at all a pleasant one. Stumbling into the quarantine room proper, Ash managed to slam "his" fist against the button sealing the room once more before falling to "his" knees. Unsurprisingly, Kloe's usual voice in the back of his head, gently teasing him to start "exploring" was completely absent, a deafening silence in its place. A silence that Ash was confident he could rid himself of, once he managed to crawl his way over to the lab in the corner of the room. Until then, however, he was stuck wearing Kloe in her present state, forced to deal with all the baggage that came with that...
Had fun writing this one, although it took waaaaay too long to decide between the two different options for today's prompt and I think this ended up a bit short for my liking. I went with the prompt MOSTLY being shown at the end because the idea of a "rabid, living skinsuit" just sounded interesting to write, although I think the end result is a tad dark because of it. This is inspired by the chapter "Merging Monstrosities" (https://chyoa.com/chapter/Merging-Monstrosities.773907) on the story "Suits and Slimes" and references both that story and the others by the same author (https://chyoa.com/user/Yabusa), which I'm a big fan of. Personally, my head-canon for this chapter is that, in the shared universe "Suits and Slimes" is a part of, some company tried to make THEIR (mostly heavily flawed) versions of all the various experiments/magic/technology/phenomena, got bought out, and now there's a sort of "SCP facility" that's left to deal with all the aftermath and, ideally, improve/refine everything they did. Purely my head-canon, so not actually canon to the "Yabusa-verse" (formerly unofficially dubbed the "Halode-verse"), just to be clear.
Anyway, my favorite piece for today's prompt is a tie again. First-up is FanterFane's piece, I'm a big fan of the "inside view of the skinsuit" and the expression at the end in particular:

Second-up is Yasuda Kojo's piece, I love the faces (big shock, I know), and how absolutely eager Hanako (the host forcing the possession) is to have her body be groped and such:
