Darkness

Darkness. A complete and utter darkness in every direction. You can see no source of light, nor can you make out any distinguishable shapes. There is only darkness. You float adrift in the darkness for what feels like an eternity, until... you hear a noise. You open your eyes. You are laying on solid ground, and though it is still dark, your eyes quickly adjust, and you are able to make out piles of white powder around you. The piles of white seem almost soft to the touch, and you think they would have made a great landing spot to cushion your fall. But you weren't so lucky. The sound that had awoken you is steadily getting closer, close enough now that you can finally distinguish the sound as a high pitched voice, calling out for someone. "Kris! Susie! Is that you?" The voice says. Just as you get up off the ground and dust yourself off, the owner of the voice comes into view.

The stranger appears to be some sort of humanoid goat creature with long, fluffy ears. You just barely manage to restrain yourself from petting the newcomer. His expression changes to one of surprise when he sees you standing there. "O-oh! Oh my, you're not Kris or Susie. Who are you?" You tell the goat person that your name is Vessel. "Vessel, is it? Well, it's nice to meet you, Vessel. My name is Ralsei. As the prince of this kingdom, allow me to welcome you." He says, giving a quick, but polite, bow. Ralsei appear to be male, but with his feminine features he could easily be mistaken for a girl. His long robes cover up most of his body, with his over-sized wizard hat covering his face in shadows, giving his fur a dark appearance. Despite that, you think you can see a hint of white underneath all that darkness. Behind his green rimmed glasses you can see a pair of eyes with pink irises looking back at you. Right underneath his face is his cute, pink scarf. Ralsei starts blushing a bit from your examination, which is somehow visible through his fur and the shadows made by his hat. "Umm, well, I hope you don't think this is insensitive of me, but could you tell me why you are here?" He ask, getting somewhat flustered from all his blushing.
