Daily Planet the next morning

The daily planet office is in chaos Lois and Jimmy are sat in Perry's office having a conversation "Is it Superman?" Asks Perry. "Definitely not" replies Lois. "And what may I ask are you basing that off Lane? Evidence? A hunch? Your crush on Superman?". "Listen, Perry I get it you want the story on this guy..." Perry cuts her off "We need the story, need the story Lane, I've got the two best reporters in the city one is sat on her ass moping cause Superman's been seen with some other broad and the other is MIA!". Jimmy peeps up "Clark is in smallville on a story sir" Perry looks at him sarcastically "Gee Olsen, why didn't I think to look in the place I sent him? I checked with the hotel in Smallville he's not there and he never checked in hence the MIA" Jimmy sits down again pretending to play with his camera lens. "He didn't check in?" Asks Lois "Did I stutter? Every paper in the world has their top guys on this till Kent comes back this is on you Lane. I want to know everything about this guy is it Zod? Is it Superman? Is it some other Kryptonian on a holiday in Columbia? I want to know his name, where he's from, what he wants, why he hates Coffee, his pant size, what he had for breakfast yesterday!". "I'm on it Chief". Lois grabs Jimmy "You're coming with me", Jimmy nervously replies "Who needs Clark, Olsen and Lane are the new A team". Lois looks at Jimmy "Why would Clark not check in at his hotel? Did he even leave town? I smell a rat"
