Cover herself with an oversized book

Anna desperately looked for some way to cover herself. The only thing in this section was paperbacks. Fortunately, she knew the Dewey Decimal System. Art was only a few rows away from her. If she could make it there, she could grab one of those oversize books of paintings. That should be big enough to cover most of her torso. Sticking her head out to see if the coast was clear, she quickly scampered out into the open, making little padding footsteps on the carpet. A few moments later, she had safely arrived at her destination. She hoped nobody saw her.

Safely concealed by the bookshelves for the time being, she crouched down to the bottom shelf and looked through the few oversize books there. Her pose, bent down at the knees with her butt slightly sticking out, was actually very artistic itself. It made her look like some kind of painting herself. As she looked through the books, the only one big enough to cover was a big book of Renaissance paintings. Unfortunately, it had the Birth of Venus on the cover. Anna realized the irony of covering her naked body with a naked woman, but she did not have any other choice.

Anna remembered the controversy about this book a while ago. There was a heated argument about whether or not the school should ban this book and remove it from the library. People objected to it, saying it was obscene, and nudity has no place in school. The winning side came when the art teacher, Mrs. Romano, claimed the book was an important part of cultural history, and it would go against the school’s values to not have it in the library. The principal finally sided with her, and the book stayed. Anna wondered what all those people would say if they saw what she was doing with the book now.

Anna lifted the book to her body, turning it sideways so it hung open vertically for maximum coverage. With the book open this way, it was just barely large enough to cover her modesty. It reached up past her nipples and down past her vulva, but just barely. If she moved it out of place, or jostled it in any way, it would slip, exposing one thing or another. She tried bending her knees and crouching down slightly, walking in a slightly awkward waddle, to reduce the distance between her breasts and privates. However, this only made her butt stick out uncovered. She thought the best thing to do was stay upright, with her back to the wall, so she could limit her total exposure as much as possible.

Anna was able to sneak around now with at least a little bit of coverage. Still, that was far too little for her liking. She was covered only by this too-small rectangle held out in front of her. She realized she had to hold the book with both her hands to keep it in place. If she had to use a doorknob or something, she would have to let it slip for a moment. She did not like that prospect, but she supposed it was unavoidable. That was one problem solved, as well as she could, at least. However, she still needed to make it out of the library.
