Confirmation of your abilities

A sudden thought dawned on you. You WERE an electronic being just minutes ago, maybe it is possible to still tap on that aspect while in a fleshy host? As you imagined connecting to the phone you were holding in your hand, a weird sensation filled your being, as the phone just unlocked itself, not even needing to key in the password, but more importantly, you felt a sense of connection to it, as if it was still a part of your control.

Swipe left, swipe right, open a map, then check contacts. You did it all without even lifting a finger, just remotely doing it, your mind commanding it to. Yes, your domination over electronic devices is still evident. Just maybe.....You can....You lifted up a finger, concentrating very hard. At first, nothing. But you know it could be possible, just need to imagine your presence in that finger alone.

A spark generated, hovering over your index finger, before disappearing. For just a second, you were capable of moving your form out of this body into a spark, you were capable of still moving, and more importantly, not permanently stuck in this current host. Speaking of that current host, you were currently falling. Oh wait.

You immediately jerked your left hand forward to catch yourself, or at least, lessen the impact as you fall back down, your whole body feeling too numb. Likely, concentrating so much has taken a toll on you, and not to mention, forcing yourself out of the body for a second likely almost relinquished control back to her.

"Not yet, you are still of use to me." You chuckled, testing your new voice for once. It wasn't exactly very high, a bit on the rougher side, it is...interesting. Again, using the word interesting, boring.-...And that was your host personality coming through again. Great, but genuinely, robots don't have voices, and even if you must give reports, it is just a programmed text-to-speech module. Nothing compares to the complexity of human vocal tone.

Alright, enough testing. Time to find out something important. You got back up onto your feet, holding your phone up, accessing the camera app and turning it into selfie mode, time to know who your host is.

First, your facial features. It was charming, smooth, delicate, yet still fairly rough. Your hair is...The best way to describe it is a purple mess, but it is starting to grow on you. Long purple hair with large bangs, it's a miracle she could fight with these. Ah, yes, she is a combatant for an association called Wildfire. In some sense, a peacekeeping **** is down here. But...you turned the camera down, looking at what you are wearing. It's....hard to determine that from your garb. Black shorts, a leotard with cuts along the chest and midriff, asymmetrical skirt panels, a short scarf, more asymmetrical leg wraps, and high heels. The only notable thing you can discern about your association and its business is a slight bit of armour along your arms, and a tied piece of red cloth to signify your placement in Wildfire. Very impractical, and very dependent on her skill. But...You struck a pose for the camera, you can't say you don't feel pretty.

Although, there was a weird side effect. You were able to notice that in both of your eyes, a very faint, almost indistinguishable outline of a three zig zags originating from a central point. Your newfound memories were definitely telling you that this was not supposed to be the case for her, and that her eyes didn't normally contain such a weird symbol. You blinked a couple of times, the symbol slowly fading away, but you subconsciously know that you can make it return whenever you want. That's enough of your impromptu inspection, you thought as you put away your phone, fully digesting the final and crucial bit of memories your host have to offer.

Seele. That is the name of the host you're inhabiting right now. All the memories were finally yours. The backbone of Wildfire, the butterfly of the underground. You were out on a scouting expedition following a lead of some smugglers before you got zapped, and now. Well, here you are. Another test of motor skills again. This time, though, it was nowhere near as unstable. Fully utilising your physique, you sprinted back to Boulder Town, your current residence. Your heels did not even disrupt any of your movements at all. It felt amazing. Not even an automaton can move this fast, so quickly. You were moving so fast that you swore you could see an afterimage of yourself behind where you were half a second ago, a faint trace of holographic butterflies following in your wake. Surely, this host has been blessed by something, but for now, that would have to wait. Now, you would like to know more about the world you are in right now.
