What's next?

Company Time

Jeremiah Holland came down into the lobby of the Jewel Development Company’s building. It was not quite a skyscraper, but it had quite a few floors, and a receptionist sitting in the lobby, behind a desk that a gorgeous blonde was currently leaning against on her elbows. As Jeremiah walked up, he couldn’t help himself from ogling. Long, toned and tanned legs stretching up to a gray pencil skirt that did very little to hide the sensual shape of her wide hips or the thickness of her plump ass. On her top half, her toned upper body was covered by a pink button up blouse, the sleeves rolled back to the elbow, the buttons unbuttoned a little too far down.

The tall shapely blonde straightened up when she saw him, and Jeremiah tried not to let his eyes flick down at the enticing cleavage flaunted by her top. He was fairly certain he failed at least once though.

“Uncle Jer!” Alexis Holland beamed.

Jeremiah embraced his sister’s eldest daughter, surprised at how tightly she hugged him, and how firmly pressed up against him she was. She only had medium sized breasts, which were by no means small but significantly smaller than girls like Daisy or Amy or Olivia had, but they were perky and noticeable, for sure.

“Hey, Lexi.” Jeremiah said fondly, and the pair separated from their hug.

“Sorry to drag you down here, but Mrs. Sunshine and Rainbows wouldn’t let me up.” Alexis glared over her shoulder at the JDC receptionist, who met Alexis’ gaze firmly. Willow Vernes was a woman Jeremiah and Jenson had gone to college with, and when they’d founded their company, they’d seen her name among the applicants and hired her almost immediately. Plus, the light brown haired woman was quite the looker, and had been since college back when she was Willow Brown.

“Willow has been the receptionist here since we opened, she takes her job very seriously.” Jeremiah tried to soothe Alexis.

“Been here that long and still sits in the front lobby all day? Yikes.” Alexis muttered, and Jeremiah winced, glancing back at Willow, who did not seem impressed by the new hire.

Jeremiah had a feeling he’d be paying for his niece’s comments later, but for now, he and Alexis stepped into the elevator and headed up to the top floor, where Jeremiah and Jenson’s offices were.

The elevator doors slid open at the top to reveal an empty desk and two office doors leading to either side on the left and right. Jeremiah led Alexis into the one on the left, and into a spacious office with a big window with a view of the city. The JDC building was by no means a skyscraper, so it didn’t have an incredible view of the skyline, but it was a nice one, Jeremiah had always thought.

Alexis let out a low whistle, nodding approvingly. “Not bad, Uncle Jer, not bad.”

She put her hands on her wide hips, looking around at the various awards and memorabilia adorning the office walls and shelves. Alongside one of Daisy’s many cheerleading trophies near his desk sat a middle school football trophy from when Jace had won that year. It sounded bad to say, but Dana didn’t have a trophy to display there, or one of hers would be right beside the other two.

A family photo sat near the trophy display, taken on the day the JDC had opened. Jeremiah looked at it, really looked at it for the first time in quite a while, and was surprised to see the love in Danielle’s eyes as she looked at him. It was an expression he never saw much of these days, and that was mostly his own doing, he supposed. He’d been cut off and constantly busy working, never paying much attention to his wife or his children. Well, he was paying Daisy quite a bit of attention now, but that was not exactly stellar parenting going on there.

In the photo, the twins couldn’t have been more than four or so, Daisy not much older, and there was Danielle, in a sexy violet dress that showed off quite a bit of those incredible breasts of hers, and her face was tilted towards him, looking at him like a proud wife. Where the hell had he fucked that one up?

“Uncle Jer!” a voice cut in, and Jeremiah jolted away from the photo, surprised.

“Huh? Did you say something?” Jeremiah blinked.

The 25 year old blonde in the room rolled her eyes. “Yeah, I did. I asked where I’m gonna be working in here. Do I get my own desk or…?” Alexis raised an eyebrow. “Maybe near the window?”

“What? Oh, you’re that desk out there, where the elevator doors open.” Jeremiah waved a hand. “I just brought you in here to have you sign some stuff.”

“Wait, I don’t even get a window?” Alexis frowned. “Are you sure I can’t work in here?”

“Work in here? Inside the office? That defeats a primary purpose of a secretary, which is to manage who comes in to see me. If everybody who needs to talk to my secretary comes in the office, that will just disturb me more.” Jeremiah explained.

“Ugh.” Alexis wrinkled her nose. “Fine, I’ll work out at that desk then, I suppose.”

“Wonderful. Oh, and I suppose it goes without saying that you’ll be helping out Jenson as well.” Jeremiah explained. “Neither of us are quite busy enough to warrant having our own secretaries, but the two of us combined make it worth it.”

“Great.” Alexis sighed.

“It’s not too bad, don’t worry.” Jeremiah soothed her, shaking his head. “And you definitely don’t have to stay as long as I do.”

“What time am I getting out of here? I do still need to have some time to work on my art.” Alexis worried.

“I think you’ll probably be good to leave by 3 or 4.” Jeremiah shrugged. “No need to keep you here past then, I don’t think.”

“Well, that’s not that late.” Alexis said hopefully. “And it’s just until I can start getting some recognition and income from the art.”

Jeremiah wasn’t too sure there was a huge art market in Coral Sands, but he nodded and gave his niece an optimistic smile. He remembered just how hard-working and diligent that Tessa was at Alexis’ age, and how much Isabelle seemed to be headed down the same path. Somehow, that had gotten lost in Alexis, it seemed. With the girls’ father out of the picture, Tessa had had to juggle a lot, and she had risen to the challenge practically all by herself.

Jeremiah was glad his elder sister was getting the new promotion and the move to Redwater, in truth, as she’d definitely earned it. He had no problems with taking in Isabelle for the rest of the school year to help out Tessa, she’d done so much for him and his family over the years, he was happy to return the favor.

Besides, Jace and Isabelle were nigh inseparable anyway, he was sure they’d enjoy the proximity. Isabelle and Dana would likely enjoy it, too. Dana had far too many arguments with Daisy about just about everything, Isabelle might be more akin to an actual sister figure for her.

Alexis took one last wistful look at the view from the window before trodding out to her desk, the office door closing behind her.

“Hey, Uncle Jer!” she called almost instantly. “How do I log into the computer?”

“Willow didn’t give you that?” Jeremiah called back with a sigh.

“No, she just glared at me.” Alexis huffed, storming back into the office. “Your receptionist is awful at her job, she really couldn’t have just given me all the stuff I need?”

“You were instigating her quite a lot.” Jeremiah pointed out, and Alexis threw up her hands.

“She was the one giving me attitude first, I was just saying hello.” Alexis put her hands on her hips. Her gorgeous face was harsh with anger, and the glint in Alexis’ eye was one he recognized all too well from Tessa’s own stubborn streak. If only Alexis put hers to the same good use Tessa usually did.

“Alright, let’s go talk to Willow, then.” Jeremiah sighed, thinking privately that he’d never known Willow to give attitude to anybody unprompted, but she was quite the lioness when provoked.

———

“Look at us!” Rachel Barnes exclaimed cheerfully. “The sun is out, and we have Claire with us, rather than somewhere locked up in the hospital in some bloody nurse scrubs!”

“And mimosas in hand as well!” Danielle Holland agreed with a grin.

“My scrubs weren’t usually all that bloody.” Claire Johnson replied with a wry smile, but she held up her mimosa for a toast as well.

The three women were at brunch today, enjoying the sun on their faces and the incredible smell of food sizzling beyond the kitchen doors.

“It is nice to be able to have more normal hours.” Claire sighed. “I feel like I was missing out on so much time with you guys and with David.”

“And with Jace?” Rachel asked innocently.

“Jace?” Danielle raised her eyebrows.

“You might not have noticed because you were too busy getting fucked by David during it,” Rachel began with a bluntness that made Claire wince, “but our darling Claire was absolutely in heaven getting fucked by your handsome boy.”

“It wasn’t like that-” Claire tried to protest, but Rachel shook her head, dark hair swinging.

“Oh, it definitely was.” Rachel said smugly.

“If it helps, I’d say Jace was very, very into it, too.” Danielle grinned. “The way he was looking at you when I did come over was something else.”

Claire’s cheeks flushed crimson, and she let out a groan. “I did really enjoy it.”

“Attagirl!” Rachel whooped, drawing the gazes of a few other patrons in the diner. Claire gave them an apologetic look while Dani just shook her head wryly.

“We need to get Claire some alone time with Jace, it seems.” Rachel smirked at Danielle, a scheming look in her blue eyes.

Claire still didn’t know that her best friends had both been getting fucked by her son, and Danielle wondered if Rachel planned on using Claire and Jace’s newfound connection to reveal their time with David. It would hardly be uncharacteristic.

“Oh, I’m sure Jace would be more than happy to accommodate.” Danielle laughed. “He adores his Auntie Claire.”

“What’s this I hear about Jace loving an aunt who’s not me?” a voice said, and Danielle turned to smile at her baby sister, Daphne Franklin. The 28 year old busty blonde slid into the empty seat beside Danielle, the Franklin sisters sitting opposite Rachel and Claire in the booth.

“Oh, I’m definitely not his aunt.” Claire held up her hands hastily.

“Aunts don’t frequently fuck their nephews, it’s true.” Rachel smirked.

Danielle glanced sidelong at Daphne, knowing all too well how her son felt about family members, but from Daphne’s reaction, she was fairly certain Jace and Daphne hadn’t gone down the same road as Jace and Danielle had. Fairly certain, anyway. Daphne could keep a secret if she needed to.

“You got down and dirty with Jacey, huh?” Daphne smirked. “Good for you!”

“Ugh, it’s like she’s a mini-you.” Claire groaned.

“Sure am.” Daphne said proudly, and Danielle wrapped her arm around Daphne, drawing her little sister close to her and kissing her cheek.

“Yup. My little mini-me.” Danielle smiled, making Daphne roll her eyes, blue instead of the teal that Dani had. Daphne had inherited their father’s eyes rather than their mother’s.

“I wish I had a little sister.” Rachel said wistfully. “I just have Emma and she’s boring.”

“At least you have a sister.” Claire reminded Rachel.

“At least you have a son.” Rachel countered. “Some of us wound up with three daughters and a husband who decided three was enough.”

“Well, his genetics barely did any work anyway.” Danielle pointed out. “You’re just too womanly to have a son.”

“Are you trying to say I can’t have a son because my tits are too big?” Rachel gaped.

“No, I think she’s saying that Mr. Rachel Barnes doesn’t have strong enough sperm to override your body’s natural inclination to have sexy daughters.” Daphne mused.

“That’s… not really how it works.” Claire tried to intercede, but Rachel waved her off.

“No, no, I like this idea. I was just too sexy to have a son.” Rachel said, trying the idea out, making Danielle snort.

“Be glad you made it out of college without kids, Daph. They’re a hassle.” Danielle laughed.

“Oh, I know. I was only a kid when you had Daisy and the twins, but you always seemed so frazzled for quite a few years.” Daphne chuckled.

“Definitely was not an easy time.” Rachel agreed. “The two of us had six children between us in, what, 3 years?”

“Yeah, that sounds about right. Seven if you count Claire having David.” Danielle pointed out.

“I don’t, she ditched us for smart people college.” Rachel shook her head, making Claire laugh.

“You could have come too if you spent less time partying in high school.” Claire pointed out.

“That also would have likely cut down on that number of children.” Daphne pointed out, and Danielle elbowed Daphne in the ribs.

“Ow!” Daphne protested.

“I’d have done the same.” Rachel nodded with a smirk.

“It was definitely a very tiring time, but now, I wouldn’t change a thing.” Danielle shook her head.

“Even with your marriage in the dumps?” Daphne asked innocently.

“It’s like you’re trying to piss me off.” Danielle shook her head. Daphne laughed, tucking Danielle’s hair behind her ear and shaking her head.

“I would never dream of it, my dear sister.” Daphne said cheerfully. Danielle rolled her eyes.

“At least you’re married.” Claire pointed out.

“Someday, you’re gonna tell us who the hell David’s father is.” Rachel shook her head. “I cannot die without knowing it.”

“It’s nobody you would know, so why do you care?” Claire gave a long-suffering sigh.

“Has David ever asked?” Danielle asked curiously.

“When he was younger.” Claire nodded. “Not in years though.”

“We all saw David’s cock Sunday night, I’m dying to find out where he gets that. Unless your daddy was packing, Claire, which you have to tell me if he was.” Rachel looked at her best friend pointedly.

“I don’t know if he was or not!” Claire gasped, scandalized. “I know David’s father was definitely not as big as David though.”

“Hmm. Maybe I need to pay Mr. Johnson a visit then.” Rachel mused.

“You absolutely will not.” Claire stuck her finger in Rachel’s face.

“Girls’ trip?” Danielle chimed in, grinning.

“You all saw David’s dick? Is he big?” Daphne asked curiously.

“Huge!” Rachel crowed happily, holding up her hands in a fairly accurate approximation of Goliath.

Daphne’s jaw dropped. “David? Dana’s nerdy little friend?”

“Yup. He fucked me on Sunday night, and damn, I was sore Monday, let me tell you.” Danielle sighed happily.

“You women all need a lesson in behaving in public.” Claire groaned, burying her face in her hands.

“Don’t say ‘you women’ so derisively, Claire Johnson, you were just talking about how much you wanted to get bent over and fucked silly by Jace.” Rachel shook her head.

“I never said-” Claire exclaimed, but she cut off when she saw a wide-eyed server standing there.

“I’ll have a coffee.” Daphne said cheerfully.

———

Sophia Wayne climbed out of her car, glancing up and down the street curiously.

“Mrs. Wayne!” a polite voice spoke up, and Sophia turned towards the speaker, a well-dressed man in a suit with a gold C emblazoned on the breast.

“Hello, I have an appointment with Mr. Calloway.” Sophia told him, and the man inclined his head.

“Yes, Mr. Calloway is expecting you. Right this way, please.” he said, and Sophia followed him into the spacious building that her car had pulled right up to.

As they walked through the double doors, Sophia read the sign on the entrance, declaring this the Calloway Foundation Ballroom and Event Center.

Sophia was led through an enormous open room in an old-fashioned elegant ballroom style. She was trying to keep on her official business persona, but the inner part of her, the giddy soon-to-be bride, was excited at the prospect of holding her engagement party here in this ballroom. The actual wedding was likely going to be outside somewhere, but this space was perfect for events.

Sophia was led upstairs into a more reserved office space with much less opulence, though it was assuredly still a series of very nice offices. The last one in the hall was Sophia’s destination, and she was ushered into a room occupied by two individuals.

“Sophia!” the male spoke up cheerfully, ushering her in. Lincoln Calloway was a warm, smiling man, with brown hair and honest brown eyes. Beside him, looking as radiant as ever, was his wife, Shreya Calloway. She very clearly had some Indian heritage, and had an ample bosom and shapely hips. Wealth suited her well, too, as she wore shimmering earrings, an expensive necklace, and a designer dress that clung to her voluptuous body, showcasing plenty of her brown skin.

“Lincoln, Shreya.” Sophia greeted her close friends. “It’s wonderful to see you again.”

“Indeed! I heard you were re-marrying, and I’m delighted for you.” Shreya beamed, and the shorter woman swept Sophia into a hug, one where Sophia felt Shreya’s considerably larger breasts squash against hers.

“Thank you!” Sophia smiled, happy at hearing somebody congratulate her on the news. It was her own decision to keep a lid on it for now, but it still ached sometimes having so many people in her life who didn’t know the news about her. The Calloways knew only because Sophia had reached out about utilizing their ballroom for her engagement party, and Sophia trusted the pair of them explicitly anyway.

The Calloways were old money in Amethyst Shore, and while they didn’t have much going on in terms of enterprise in the modern day, they ran a very successful charity foundation that had done great things for Amethyst Shore and the surrounding area. Sophia had even heard that the Calloway Foundation was looking into re-opening the old Calypso Beach, which had been an extremely popular nude beach that had closed for various reasons. The biggest of those reasons had been scandalized folks who couldn’t bear something like that happening in their town, so they’d gotten it shut down, but clearly the Calloways wanted to return that to the community, and hell, she hoped they succeeded.

Calypso Beach had been quite the wild hangout spot in her own senior year of high school and Sophia suspected Skylar and Sam would be frequent visitors, too.

“We checked the calendar for you, Sophia, and we can definitely host your engagement party here.” Lincoln told her with a smile. “I could have told you as much in a phone call, there was no need to trouble yourself coming out here.”

“Can’t I drop by to see some friends?” Sophia smiled. Sophia had met Lincoln and Shreya some 20 years ago, back when Jonathan had been alive. Jon and Lincoln had a fair few years difference between them, but Lincoln had always been something of an older brother figure for Jon, and the pair of them both being members of the richest families in Amethyst Shore had definitely contributed to that. Lincoln and Shreya had been married already then, and had their older daughter already too, though Lilian had been very young.

After Jonathan’s accident several years down the road, Sophia had been shattered, and Lincoln and Shreya’s support had been a very big part of keeping Sophia afloat, she had to admit. It was hard going from a stay at home mother to a single mom running Wayne Incorporated, but the Calloways had been there for her, and she appreciated it greatly.

“Of course you can.” Shreya beamed, glaring at her husband, who chuckled and held up his hands apologetically. “We’re always happy to have you here.”

“I do want to make a donation as well, as thanks for the quick turnaround time. I know you generally want longer than three days’ turnaround time.” Sophia said wryly.

“Oh, there’s no need for that.” Lincoln waved his hand. “Anything for a friend.”

Sophia smiled at the kindly man, shaking her head. “I appreciate it, but I’ll be donating regardless. Maybe you can put it towards opening up Calypso Beach again.”

Lincoln chuckled. “That’s Shreya’s pet project, that’s up to her.”

Shreya shrugged shamelessly. “Calypso Beach was a staple in Amethyst Shore before those grannies got it shut down, and I am happy to do my service to the community and get it re-instated.”

“Well, my children will definitely be among the first to go when you do open it back up.” Sophia smiled.

“If only I could say the same.” Shreya lamented. “I had hoped cheerleading might loosen our darling London up some, but it doesn’t seem like it has.”

“She still has her senior year, don’t worry. Her being one of those 18 year old juniors doesn’t mean she has to have all her fun in junior year.” Sophia shook her head.

“London isn’t exactly a wild child, though.” Shreya sighed.

“Neither was Lilian, not until her senior year of college, you remember.” Lincoln reminded his wife.

“Oh, yes. Lilian was a stick in the mud until she met her man. I adore him, you know.” Shreya smiled.

“Skylar has herself a man these days now, too, it seems. She denies the hell out of it, though.” Sophia chuckled. “Swears to me almost every day she’s still wild and free.”

Lincoln laughed. “It must be quite a boy who can wrangle Skylar in. That girl is a fiery one. I think Jonathan would have been very, very proud.”

“Very proud or ripping his hair out trying to keep her in check.” Sophia smiled wistfully. Shreya threw her arms around Sophia again, and Sophia gratefully embraced the curvy woman. She had made her peace with Jonathan’s ****, it had been over a decade ago now, but she wished every single day he was around to see who Skylar and Sam had become. Even if Sophia never got to see him, she wanted him to be able to meet them just once. It was never going to happen, though, and making peace with that was quite a lot harder.
