Chapter 3
by Koriandr
What was in store for The Signal?
Clayface was spotted in the sewers.
The sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow over the Gotham City streets. The citizens were hustling and bustling, going about their daily business, unaware of the danger lurking beneath their very feet.
Duke Thomas, also known as The Signal, was patrolling the city during daylight hours when he received a report of a series of robberies taking place. The culprits were suspected to be hiding in the sewers, and The Signal was quick to deduce that this could only be the work of Clayface. Known for his ability to transform and mold his body into any shape or form, Clayface was a formidable foe.
With a determined expression, Duke donned his yellow and black suit, a symbol of hope and light in a city often shrouded in darkness. He made his way to the nearest sewer entrance, cautiously descending into the depths of Gotham's underground.
The sewers were a dark and dank labyrinth, with the stench of waste and decay filling the air. However, Duke remained undeterred, knowing that he had a job to do. His eyes adapted to the darkness, and he activated his suit's built-in sensors to scan for any signs of Clayface's presence.
As Duke ventured deeper into the sewers, he suddenly caught a glimpse of a grotesque figure lurking in the shadows. He could sense the danger, and immediately recognized the monstrous form as none other than Clayface himself.
"Clayface!" Duke called out, his voice echoing through the tunnels.
"I know you're behind the robberies. I'm bringing you in!"
Clayface slowly emerged from the shadows, a twisted grin spread across his malleable face. He stared at The Signal, his voice a guttural growl, "Well, well, if it isn't the daylight detective. I was expecting The Batman, not one of his lackeys! I'm hurt. Am I not on his A-List anymore?"
Duke clenched his fists, prepared to face his foe.
"Give it up, Clayface. There's no place left for you to hide."
Clayface let out a sinister laugh, his body shifting and morphing before Duke's eyes.
"You underestimate me, boy. I've got plenty of tricks up my sleeve."
"Let's see if you can keep up with the light," Duke retorted, activating a small device on his wrist. Suddenly, the dimly lit sewers were filled with a brilliant flash of light, temporarily blinding Clayface.
As the light faded, Duke saw Clayface stagger back, his form losing some of its cohesion. Seizing the opportunity, The Signal lunged forward, tossing an ice grenade. The detonation solidified the villain just enough for Duke to deliver a powerful punch to Clayface's gut. The ice shattered.
Clayface roared in anger, his body quickly reforming as he retaliated with a massive clay fist. Duke narrowly dodged the blow.
"You'll have to do better than that, Clayface," Duke taunted, keeping his distance as he readied himself for the next move.
With a snarl, Clayface lunged forward, his body shifting and changing as he tried to land a blow on the elusive Signal. Duke deftly evaded each attack, striking back with well-timed blows of his own.
As the battle between The Signal and Clayface raged on, Clayface realized he needed a new approach to gain the upper hand. With a malicious grin, he decided on a plan that would not only defeat The Signal, but humiliate him as well.
Duke, focused on the fight, failed to notice the subtle change in Clayface's tactics. As they exchanged blows, Clayface extended a tendril of clay, wrapping it around Duke's leg. Before The Signal could react, more tendrils shot out, ensnaring his arms and torso.
"Hey! Let me go or I swear I'll-"
"Hahaha! You'll what, hero? Talk me into giving up?"
The tendrils tightened, forcing Duke to his knees. The pressure was immense, and he could feel the clay seeping into his suit, merging with its fibers. The yellow and black costume began to change, becoming slick and malleable under the influence of Clayface's power.
"GAH! What the hell are you doing to me?!"
Duke thought for sure Clayface was intent on crushing him. He reached to his utility belt to hit the red panic button. One press and the Bat Family would be there in minutes, night or day. Swallowing his pride, his hand darted down to the button only to feel it had been dissolved into clay.
"Relax. I'm not gonna kill you. That'd be too easy! No, you're gonna get a rebranding, just like the one I had all those years ago."
The sensation was unlike anything Duke had ever experienced. His body felt as if it were being torn apart and reassembled, each cell screaming in agony. He could feel the clay working its way under his skin, creeping through his veins, and invading every fiber of his being.
"Let me go, dammit!"
His muscles softened, becoming less defined, while his frame slimmed and took on a more feminine shape. His jawline softened, cheekbones becoming more prominent, and his hair grew longer, cascading down his back in a silky wave. The pain was excruciating, Duke unable to find the strength to resist.
"You're not in a position to make demands, Batboy."
His costume continued to evolve, with the yellow and black colors shifting to a more muted palette. The once-formidable armor dissolved, leaving his new form exposed. The clay seeped into his skin, molding his body into a featureless, yet unmistakably female shape.
"W-wha... Why am I getting smaller?!"
Duke felt himself shrink down, watching in abject horror as he underwent an involuntary metamorphosis.
"Take it easy, kid! I'm making you a star! Ain't you tired of being a nobody sidekick?"
The agonizing process reshaped his muscles, which softened and became less defined, while his frame slimmed and took on a more feminine shape. He could feel his chest expanding, as the clay molded two perfectly rounded breasts, their weight unfamiliar and disconcerting. His hips widened, giving him an unmistakable hourglass figure.
"HUH?! Boobs?!"
Duke panicked.
"Hahahaha! Don't worry, dollface! I'm an artist! This rebrand will work wonders for you. After all, neon yellow has been dead since the 90's."
Duke's thighs, once toned and powerful, thickened and curved, while the clay continued to reshape his legs, granting him an appearance that was both alluring and disconcerting. The pain of the transformation was excruciating, and Duke couldn't find the strength to resist the relentless reshaping of his body.
His genitals were coated with clay, easily morphing and shrinking down to a smooth, flat surface. As simple of a change as it appeared to be on the surface, on the inside it triggered a sudden, pulse pounding orgasm. Duke couldn't help but cry out as his voice cracked and shifted to a sultry, feminine tone.
"GAAA-aaa-AAAHHHHHHHH!"
Clayface looked on in wicked delight, his sinister plan unfolding before his eyes.
"Music to my ears! Welcome to the Clay Family, girly. Though, The Signal isn't really a fitting name for you now, is it? Huh." The mud monster pondered.
"How about Lady Clay?"
Duke, now trapped in the form of Lady Clay, struggled against the tendrils that bound him. Despite the pain and confusion, he was determined to break free and put an end to Clayface's twisted game.
"Shut up and change me back, you monster!"
"Don't be like that, LC! Think about it! We could rule Gotham! You and me!"
"Burn in hell, freak!"
"Ah, oh well. I figured you'd say something like that."
Clayface shrugged, releasing "Lady Clay" and melting down into a puddle. He fled through a drain.
"Wait! Where are you going?!"
"Leaving you to enjoy the gift I've given you! Let me know if you change your mind!"
"Hey!"
Duke called after him but he was already gone.
Slumped over, he looked down at his effeminate hands. His eyes landed on his new, sizable bust. Two round globs of clay hung from his chest.
"He made me some sorta... Clay woman...?"
A myriad of pertinent questions ran through the young detective's mind, but he was too distracted by his new form to focus. He went to touch one of his breasts, but to his astonishment, his whole hand slipped right inside his body.
"AH!"
Duke yelped, yanking his hand back out only for it to be gone. His jaw dropped, his arm now ending at the wrist.
"N-No! Come back!"
Duke frowned, willing for his hand to return and a new one formed.
Curiously, Duke peered into the water, spotting his new reflection.
Duke saw a curvy gray skinned woman with a clay-like skin texture and red eyes.
"That bastard made me like... like him? But why a woman...?"
Probably to add insult to injury, he supposed.
"If I'm like him... then maybe I can just... change back...?"
Clayface was known to be able to shapeshift into just about anybody. If he'd just granted Duke his powers, then it wouldn't be too far fetched to assume he could do the same.
