To what world will They go? Where are They pulled to?
Chapter 2: A Marvel indeed, a world that needs Heroes
Lieutenant Eddie Robertson was not having a very good day, although most of his problems were not even caused by him or those close to him, mind you, the men under his charge knew how to keep the fit in top of condition, but it was those on top or those that certainly had no idea what was going on with him and his men that caused problem.
It had started when that rich egotistical idiot had gotten himself kidnapped by terrorists; it wouldn’t be so big if it weren’t for the fact that rich idiot was also the one that created the most weapons for the US army and suddenly, out of fucking nowhere, decided that he and Stark industries will no longer create weapons, making the idiots back at Washington lose their heads and now Eddie and the rest of the poor fellows out at sea had to deal with their temper tantrums about not having the latest toys anymore.
On top of that, the fact that metal monsters had appeared somewhere in the Southwest, a couple of other ‘geniuses’ had developed superpowers with absolutely zero impact in the life of ordinary men, and also, anti-mutant rallies had appeared all over the country.
Apparently many people had forgotten what America had gained after fighting the nazis decades ago, and even a certain thing called the Civil Rights Movement; some folks back home were so quick in pointing out at other people and blame them before even looking at themselves, fucking disgraceful; but of course, those were things that had started to happen far away, after all, as part of the navy, they all had to deal with more pressing matters, just like mother nature suddenly deciding that it was time to mess with the CVN-0321 USS Norfolk.
The storm had appeared out of nowhere, but they were sailors, the sea was their home, nothing should be out of the ordinary, sadly that was the problem, no one had seen this storm coming, it had just started and it clearly wanted to finish them.
Waves crashing against the hull and even reaching the top of the vessel was not something that could be considered normal, waves that size were not an everyday occurrence, something must have triggered a tsunami, maybe an earthquake or something similar, although considering everyone’s luck these past few months, something big must have happen, like maybe another monster or probably even aliens, at this point Lt. Robertson could believe anything, and that’s when in the sky, a star appeared.
It was as if a small little sun had exploded the rain clouds and the ire of the sea, it illuminated everything and everyone in the ship felt… calm, at peace, it was bizarre, but he and some of those on the control room walked into the landing zone to see what could only be described as an armored angel; her silver and red armor gleaming, her ebony long hair flowing freely with the calm sea breeze that remained after the storm was expelled, while aethereal wings made out of pure energy allowed the woman to descend into the deck.
Once she touched the metal floor she let go of her companion, another armored woman that had descended alongside her, this one was not as tall as the dark haired one, with her long blonde hair in a braid and the more simple armor making Robertson remember drawing of Nordic warriors of legend.
“I hope that your vessel didn’t suffer any lasting damage, this storm would have become even stronger if I hadn’t intervened,” the woman spoke to them and the others in the deck simply stood gawking at the literal angel that had rescued them, but he immediately gained control of himself, he had a job to do.
“I am Lt. Eddie Robinson from the US Navy, I am grateful for your… assistance, we will require some time to find out if there is any damage to the ship, but it could have been worse, so once again you have my thanks.”
“You are welcome Lt. and I am glad to see you all well, I am Sif, Lady of the Stars and I came to your realm in search of some of my… companions,” the dark haired woman said with a small smirk on her face, the dice had been thrown, it was time to once more roam Earth.
-Decades ago-
It was night in Asgard, and there were those that mourned, those close to the woman that had fought bravely to save each and every life, but even a mighty warrior like Lady Sif could succumb to injuries, but at least she will find her place alongside the old heroes and leaders of Asgard.
When those reunited in the open field were ready to put the body to flame something miraculous happened, it was as if the stars had come to life and, in the next second, They opened their eyes, They were alive again among the stars.
How did this happen? Is it Sif? Is it someone else?
