Cathy Chidubem (Were-Leopard)

Catherine Chidubem, or Cathy as she prefers.

Standing at 5'9", Cathy is part South African from her father and part American from her Cali mother, but looks mostly Caucasian. She has light tanned skin, long wavy honey blonde hair, and a nice oval face. She has high cheekbones and hazel-green eyes that seem almost predatorial. She has a slim toned body with C cup breasts and a nice small yet firm butt.

Cathy transferred to your school this year and quickly became known as the quintessential preppy girl. She dresses in a polished, fashionable way—crisp blazers, pleated skirts, and tailored athleisure that radiate country-club confidence. Bright, competitive, and relentlessly upbeat, she has a sharp wit that keeps conversations lively. She’s friendly with everyone, greeting freshmen and faculty alike with the same easy charm and warm smile. Raised in sunny California, Cathy grew up feeling thoroughly all-American, yet she’s quietly and deeply curious about her South African heritage. Rather than putting it on display, she’s intent on understanding it for herself: learning Zulu phrases, listening to amapiano, exploring braai recipes, and asking her father about his childhood in Johannesburg. She’s even begun privately practicing South African neo-pagan traditions, including Kemeticism, as a way to connect more thoughtfully with her roots. Though she blends effortlessly into the preppy crowd, much of her inner world is focused on discovering where she comes from and what that heritage truly means to her.

While Cathy may seem your average friendly prep girl, there are a few things that make her unusual.

First is her antagonist behavior towards Luna. Cathy pretty much is friendly and gets along with everyone. However, the one person she doesn't is Luna. For some reason, Cathy has it out for Luna, and you can't figure out why. As far as you know, Luna hasn't done anything to her and is pretty much a loner. But for whatever reason, Cathy is outright hostile towards her: from insulting her and making cruel comments to tripping her and "bumping" into her, to looking like she is ready to pounce and fight her. You swear one time you saw her looking like she was planning on giving Luna a painful wedgie.

Second is her desire to befriend the Egyptian goddesses. While it's not entirely surprising given Cathy's neo-paganism practice with African deities, it still is odd how enamored she is with them. Even the goddesses are curious about her fascinations with them. It's almost like she wants to win their favor and learn something or be blessed by them.

Third is her sudden transfer to night school that came out of nowhere. One day she was attending history class with you and the others, and then suddenly she jumps up and sprints out of the room. Everyone is confused but brushes it off and goes back to their work. After class, you then notice... The very next day, it is announced that she is transferring to night school, and no one knows why. While walking to your locker, you find Cathy's clothes in a trashcan, torn up. No explanation is offered and Cathy avoids the question, leaving everyone to come up with their own theories.

To add to the mystery, around the same time there were rumors of sightings of a leopard-like creature roaming the city. Witnesses described it as tall, with a lean yet heavily muscular humanoid body, vicious claws, a thick tail, and a deep, resonant roar. However, eyewitness accounts were inconsistent, and the few camera images that surfaced were blurry enough to be dismissed as edited or fake. Reports of this creature began shortly after the first werewolf sightings, but unlike the werewolf’s seemingly random and brutish behavior, the leopard creature was said to move with agility and precision. Instead of attacking locations indiscriminately, people claimed to find claw marks and disturbances near areas the werewolf had recently been seen—as if the leopard was tracking and hunting it.
