Bonnie grabs the ball

Bonnie reached out and grabbed the ball from the clown's hand. Or tried to. Her fingers closed on empty air. The clown took a step back, and opened his other hand to reveal the ball had actually been in there the whole time.

He tossed the ball into the air. Bonnie tried to catch it, and found it wasn't where she thought it was. In fact, the clown had never actually tossed it at all. He tossed it again, for real this time, and watched as Bonnie was far too slow to catch it. He held it up for her to see, and let her snatch it out of his hand.

But when she opened her hands, the yellow thing in them wasn't a ball. It was a pair of panties. Yellow panties. Somebody's yellow panties, freshly removed and still warm.

Bonnie paused to think. Was there anyone she knew who wore yellow panties? And could she discover any conspicuous absence where a pair of yellow panties was supposed to be?

She looked down, and shrieked. She wasn't wearing any panties! Which was a huge problem, since she also wasn't wearing any pants! And the whole queue was looking at her, and they all thought it was funny!

Hastily, Bonnie tried to put on her panties. But the thing in her hand wasn't panties. It wasn't a yellow ball, either. It was just a bunch of yellow flower petals, of no use to anyone, and certainly impossible to put on. She scowled at the clown, cupping her hands between her legs to conceal her unruly ginger curls, and said "Give those back."

The clown twirled her panties around on his finger, and shook his head.
