Bonnie punches the clown
Bonnie made a fist, and bopped the clown in the face.
The clown tumbled back into the mud, his nose askew. Bonnie stood over him, sneering down into his frightened white face, hands on her hips. "Not so funny now," she gloated, as he tried to back away. "I knew you clowns weren't so tough. Give me what I ask for, right now, or I'll... I'll... what?"
The carnival had fallen quiet. Bonnie turned around and saw, emerging from the shadow of a nearby tent, another clown. No. Two clowns. Three. In fact, how many clowns were there? Girl clowns, boy clowns, fat clowns, thin clowns, gender unidentifiable clowns. All kinds of clown, and all of them looking at her.
She raised her fists in defiance. "Come on, then," she said. "You're only clowns."
